A Day in the Life / Sunday, October 18

Started our morning at 4:30 AM snuggled on the couch with our Bibles and Puppies...plus a sweet black cat :-)

We didn't have Sunday school this morning so services started at 11. Lanny has to be there early to set up the sound. I also have to go early to rehearse the ensemble songs. Service was a blessing as usual...

We had dinner at 1 with Paula, Mom and Dad, Rob and Molly and Lanny and me...Meat loaf, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and garlic bread.

Then it was nap time...not a long, lay down nap, but a sit on the couch with our feet up snooze...all the fur kids join us any time we sit on the couch.

Lanny let me drive the MULE all over the farm and we went to the ponds, checked out some interesting plants, found some interesting scat (which I need to identify), pulled some posts to widen the trail so he can get the truck thru there, and just generally enjoyed the ride on this fall evening.

We ate a bite of chicken noodle soup just so we can say we had supper and now we are sitting down getting ready for the next Marvel..."Civil War"... not my favorite because I hate that they were fighting with each other, but it does all work out in the end.

Goodnight, y'all...

Looking out my kitchen window...the leaves are starting to turn...

Near the end of our tomatoes...still one or two out there, but they will soon be a sweet memory...

Sunday Dinner

Sitting in the MULE while Lanny pulls the posts...

A really big (and mad after we disturbed them) ant hill!!

What is this? I have to look it up. They are all over the place up here...

Our little MULE waiting for us as we check out the seepage... which, by the way, was not seeping today. Go figure!!
