 Quiet Time in Bible Study...

☀️🏑

“God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!”

Psalms 46:1, 10 NKJV

“Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.”

II Corinthians 3:17-18 NKJV

“Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; For I shall yet praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God.”

Psalms 43:5 NKJV

“He who sows iniquity will reap sorrow, And the rod of his anger will fail. He who has a generous eye will be blessed, For he gives of his bread to the poor.”

Proverbs 22:8-9 NKJV

“But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift.”

Ephesians 4:7 NKJV

“Therefore the law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor.”

Galatians 3:24-25 NKJV

“Jesus said to him, “Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.””

John 20:29 NKJV

“Set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth; Keep watch over the door of my lips.”

Psalms 141:3 NKJV

Sunday on the Mountain... August 16

Quiet Time in Bible Study...

πŸ‘πŸ‘’

“Those who sow in tears Shall reap in joy. He who continually goes forth weeping, Bearing seed for sowing, Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing,

Bringing his sheaves with him.”

Psalms 126:5-6 NKJV

“Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do,

do all to the glory of God.”

I Corinthians 10:31 NKJV

“Keep your tongue from evil, And your lips from speaking deceit. Depart from evil and do good; Seek peace and pursue it. The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit. The Lord redeems the soul of His servants, And none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned.”

Psalms 34:13-14, 18, 22 NKJV

“It is a joy for the just to do justice, But destruction will come to the workers of iniquity. A man who wanders from the way of understanding

Will rest in the assembly of the dead.”

Proverbs 21:15-16 NKJV

“Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe

that I am He, you will die in your sins.””

John 8:24 NKJV

“For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.”

Romans 15:4 NKJV

Good Morning...

It's Sunday!

Bible Study Time...
too warm outside,
I didn't open the door...
makes for a very quiet study time...

Max is deciding where he
wants to land...

He decided on the floor...

Then went to the chair...

Out to the Barnyard...

About a cup of
Soldier Fly Grubs...

These gals LOVE
Grubs!!

Our usual Avocado
and a Cinnamon Roll...
the oyster crackers
are for nibbles
for the pups...

Nap time...

I am trying to cook for
our Sunday Lunch
and this is where she
insists on laying :-)

Enjoying some nibbles
in the shade...

Made a Beef and Potato Casserole,
Green Beans, Cheesy Rice and Beets...
Homemade Rolls as well...

Snatched these from Robs
page... his birthday was yesterday
and he and the kids spent
the day hiking
and playing in the creek...

And enjoying some Mexican Food!

Out to the Barnyard
to put everyone to bed...

Had more grubs
this evening,
so they got multiple
treats today!

Tonight we are going to watch
"Up"...
made in 2009 with the voices of
 Edward Asner, Jordan Nagai,
John Ratzenberger, Christopher Plummer...
seen it a dozen times but I still
cry thru the first 15 minutes of it...
Such a great
animated film...
We used to watch it with the kids,
but who needs kids?
It's good for old people too...
