Not too bad this morning...ducks and chicks are out and about and it's time to get ready for church...Ensemble practice this morning at 8:15...
Love it!
I put soup makings in the crock pot and left for church...
and after a wonderful service I came home and made some cornbread to go with it.
Then with full tummies....
...and the fur kids fed....
...we settled down for a short winters Siesta :-)

We had talked about it yesterday and decided it was a good idea, so around 4 o'clock I put the chicks and ducks to bed a little early and we piled in the car and headed down to Sonic Oak RIdge...for milkshakes!!!
We had chocolate shakes and bought an order of chicken tenders for Mom and Dad's "light dinner"... I am never hungry for anything but popcorn after we've eaten a big mid day meal but Mom and Dad always need a little something.
So now we are back home, I'm in my jammies finishing this post and will probably watch Star Trek until Lanny gets home. I'm not sure that we will start a movie tonight but we will get back to Harry Potter asap....
