A Day in the Life / Saturday, December 12

Quiet Time...

“You also must be ready all the time, for the Son of Man will come when least expected.””

- Luke‬ ‭12:40‬ ‭

Not as cold as yesterday...it was actually 40 degrees!! Not as hard to get the chicks and ducks out and about :-)

Lanny and I went down the hill early for our Saturday morning date...Hoskins Drug Store breakfast!!

On the way back we passed the cutest little bull in the Ponderosa Zoo pasture...a miniature Zebu bull...next spring I am going to look into buying one for our little farm.

These small cows are easier on the land, aren't as hard on fencing and the cows will give about a gallon of milk per day as opposed to the Holstein and Jersey that give around 5 gallons per day...much too much for a smaller family...one gallon is very doable: butter, yogurt, etc.

Lanny spent most of the day at the church doing a wedding. He got home just in time for dinner: Fish Planks, Chicken Tenders, Normandy Vegetables and French Fries...I took some to Rob and Molly as well...they are quarantined for 14 days because she was exposed to someone that tested positive for the virus. We have not been close to them so we are alright...I leave their food at the door :-)

Now we are watching a really old "Christmas Carol"... 1938 starring Reginal Owen...one of our favorites!

Goodnight Y'all!
