Quiet Time....

Lanny is SO glad to have his Buddy in his proper place :-)

He likes to put on his clothes in front of the fire (Mom and Dad are usually not in the room :-) )... and Murphy thinks the stool is HIS property...

Lovely morning... after my Daddy duties, doggy and kitty duties and letting out the fowl friends we headed down to Hoskins for our Saturday morning Date...

Lanny took me on the scenic route down Old Lake City Highway...

We had our usual BLT for me and Egg Sandwich for him... the cooks know us now and start cooking when we walk in the door :-)

Took this snapshot when I looked in on the critters with my pet cam...all four of our kids were on the couch...Max on the back, Mitzi, Maggie and then Murphy on the arm... they just don't have much of a life when we aren't home...

I rearranged the photos in our bedroom and covered up some of the holes...we have not painted yet nor filled the gazillion holes that the previous owners left...we will get to that eventually. I do like the sage green so I am not in a big hurry to paint... now I have to start USING this equipment...I used to sew all the time. I made all our dance competition outfits and most of my work outfits...but I am terrified to tackle it now...

just gonna have to sit down and DO IT!

Tried out the new griddle.. cooked the burger patties for tomorrows Sunday Hamburger Dinner after church... I will just warm them up in some Onion Soup and YUM!!!

Made Turkey Sandwiches for Mom and Dad and ALL the dogs were begging...we don't feed them at the table any more but old habits are hard to break...

Lanny and I took a nice hour long day dreaming snooze... ummmmmmmmm....

Danny came out and he and Lanny worked on the vehicles for a little while...

I sat down for just a quick minute while the cornbread was baking and...

these two just won't let me sit down without them!

I threw all the left overs from last night into a pot for soup...we had Kraut and Wiener, Spinach, Stewed Potato and Corn Soup...and cornbread...I swear, it was delicious!!!

I may do that again on purpose some day!!

All the evening chores are done...dishes washed, chicks and ducks in bed, puppy piles disposed of...I am clean and in my jammies and Lanny is in the shower... last night we watched Journey to the Center of the Earth... usually we follow that with the Mummy trio...Brendan Fraser...we like him in these particular movies...
