A Day in the Life / Saturday, May 1

Quiet Time....

“He will swallow up death for all time, And the Lord GOD will wipe tears away from all faces, And He will remove the reproach of His people from all the earth; For the LORD has spoken.”

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭25:8‬

*****

I fix Dad's Thermos, cup and a donut first thing...that way if he gets up while we are in Bible Study he can just get his goodies and go to his desk...

One of my favorite verses in Isaiah... 9:6...
For unto us a Child is born...
I read the Bible thru beginning to end every year so this was my reading today...

All the fur kids...

A bit colder than it's been, but there is the promise of a warm day ahead...

The garden is coming along...

Three duck eggs...
later in the day I was gifted with 2 chicken eggs as well :-)

The sun coming up from behind our hill
shining on the next hill... pretty...

It's Saturday...
heading to Hoskins for our 8 AM breakfast date...

After breakfast we ran to the co-op and got some seed potatoes and some oregano (my plant was frozen out last week)...
We also ran to Walmart for some groceries for tomorrow's
Sunday Lunch...

Came home and made some banana bread...

Fed everyone grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch...
then we took a quick snooze...

We did lots of little chores around the yard...
Lanny ran down to the ponds to spray for algae...

For dinner I made Country Fried Steak, Stewed Potatoes, Asparagus, Sweet Corn and Crescent Rolls...
Chocolate Chip Brownies for Dessert...

Rob and Molly joined us...

I watered the garden and put the chicks and ducks to bed...
Lanny washed the car and checked the yard for puppy land mines...

Now we are sitting here in our Jammies getting ready to watch Ant Man and Wasp...next in the Marvel series...

Goodnight Y'all...
Sweet Dreams and God bless!
