Quiet Time...

Dad and his little shadow, bright and early...

Two under the blankets...

Max joined us when his Daddy sat down...

just for a minute. Then he went to the bed...

Dad stayed up and facebooked this morning.

So after Bible Study I was able to take his pills and water in and make his bed...

Max and Mitzi LOVE to take our spots until I have to make the bed...

I heard that its Dog Day but I think our dogs believe that EVERY DAY is Dog Day!

The sprouts are coming along fine...

I'll show you the little sprout tails tomorrow...

Two duck eggs and two chicken eggs later in the morning...

I warmed up the gravy from last night and Lanny and Dad had Biscuits and Gravy for breakfast...

Max caught a rat... Just earning his keep!

Cooking up one of the chickens that Lanny and I processed...

Yum!

Also made a loaf of whole wheat bread for Robbie...he loves it!

I fed Mom, Dad and Lanny grilled cheese for lunch and then Angela and Dominique came over with the kids,,,

They saw the horses, picked tomatoes, fed the chickens and ducks and watched the fish...

Then they took a ride around the property...

Dominique's truck is 4 wheel drive so they drove out in it.

For Dinner I made Creamed Chicken and Brown Rice

and Normandy Veggies.

I also made Naan Bread.

Yummy!!

Lanny cleaned up the yard...puppy landmines :-)

I put the chicks and ducks to bed

and finished cleaning up the kitchen.

We are watching Nemo tonight...

just sit back and relax and eat some popcorn...
