Saturday in the Sunny Hills... July 16

Quiet Time...

“Seek the Lord and His strength;

seek His presence continually!”

Daddy was up and ready...

Made him a Breakfast Burrito to go with his meds and coffee...

Max often runs right back to Dad's room in the morning when I let him in...

I was alone with Maggie and Murphy until about 5:30...
Lanny slept in...

Made the bed and fed the Furry Babies...

And headed out to the Feathered Babies...

The pups would stay right there ALL day if someone will sit with them...

Headed out the other direction to give Dandy and Takoda some carrots...

The "LOOK"...

They BOTH give it to me until I show them the merchandise :-)
Look at Dandy's ears!!

I gave the chickies some carrots and cucumbers...

Fed Dad and Lanny some Biscuits and Gravy and Sausage...

Popcorn, Sugar and Goldie...
and also one from Penny not captured on film...

For lunch we had some HUGE Grilled Cheese Sandwiches...
If you remember that HUGE loaf of bread I made Monday...
well, I used it to make these sandwiches and I could only eat one half...
these are quarter cuts, that is how HUGE this was...
Good, but next time I will separate the dough into three loaves instead of two...

Canning some Sloppy Joe Mix...

Beef and Noodles and Peas and Carrots for Supper...
Pudding for Dessert.

Here's the Sloppy Joe (six pints) cooling.
I will add one pound ground beef when using it and serve it on buns or my bread... VERY quick meal...

I am going to try to get LOTS of meals canned in my pantry so I can just open a jar, warm it up and enjoy... all the cooking already done!

Lanny cleaned up the yard, the kitchen is clean, the chicken feed is safely hidden, Amber is still alive... I do NOT know how, but she is.

Robbie and James' Father and his family lost their home in a fire yesterday. They are all safe but they are in a rough place. They have had several deaths this year and many health challenges... please pray for the family.

On a happy note, Mom's CT scan showed that the tumors in her lung have shrunk and that is VERY good news. She still is having no symptoms at all from the cancer... HUGE praise to our Lord!!!

Goodnight Sweet Family and Friends...
God bless you ONE AND ALL!!!
Sweet Dreams!
