Quiet Time...
“For nothing will be impossible with God.””
Luke 1:37 ESV
*****
Dad was up...
Made his coffee, took him his meds and made him a couple of Sausage Biscuits...
Headed to the couch for man study time... Lanny joined me about 4:30...
Around 5:45 I made the bed, dressed and fed the fur kids...
then I headed out to the chicks and ducks....
The ducks did their job...
Fed Dad and Lanny some Biscuits and Gravy and Sausage...
I'm canning some Pinto/Navy/Northern Bean mixes...
so I'm busy and not taking many pics...
I'll take one when the jars are out cooling :-)
Made some left over Chili Cheese Open Faced Dogs for lunch...
Paula joined us and I took Rob some too...
Molly is on duty caregiving for her aunt so Rob is batching for a couple days :-)
These can be used for Chili, Soup or just for eating as it...
we love Beans with Fried Taters, Greens and Cornbread...
I often discover that I am in the mood for just that, but didn't plan ahead to cook the beans. I soak my beans over night and then cook them long...
I have made them in my InstantPot lately but I still have to remember to soak :-)
This will be a GREAT addition to my pantry!
Popcorn, Sugar, Coconut and Goldie!
Our little Amber Hen is still hanging (or should I say sitting) in there...
I can get her to eat a bit and drink, but it seems she is paralyzed... her sister Opal just sits by the fence we put around her to protect her from the others.
I fear that when she dies that Opal will soon follow.... she barely leaves her side :-(
Made Fish Sticks, Macaroni and Tomatoes, Green Beans and Potatoes,
with Applesauce and Graham Crackers for Dessert...
Tonight we will watch Thor... it is number 6 in the Marvel Series...
Goodnight Y'all...
God bless and Sweet Dreams...
