Daddy was up...
The usual morning buddies:
Maggie and Murph...
Lanny did come in a little later to join us...
I very gently picked up Max this morning...
I think he must have been asleep yesterday and I just startled him...
He has never been spooked like that before.
Made our bed and decanted the Sparkly...
then fed the fur children...
When I heard them making a ruckus I went out to take care of those birds...
The grubs seem to really like to migrate out of the pod when it's raining...
It POURED in the middle of the night last night...
not for long... only 3/4" but it was heavy while it lasted!
Penny egg...
it's been over a week since Gabby laid...
All the turtles get frisky when it rains as well...
they've been roaming around all day...
Made a Bacon and Egg Omelet for the men
and warmed them up a Cinnamon Roll from yesterday...
Mom and I ate one as well...
and Mom ALWAYS has an audience!
Making a cake for James' 50th Birthday...
He and Tasha are coming over tomorrow for Sunday Dinner
and we will celebrate his BIG FIVE OH!
For lunch we had Pork and Gravy Open Faced Sandwiches...
YUM!
And of course, an after lunch, rainy day Siesta!
The cake is iced and ready for tomorrow...
Also made another batch of soap today...
Coconut was sitting on Sugar's egg
but didn't lay one of her own yet...
Sugar...
she has been laying normal ones the last few days...
no more crazy designs!
Threw out some lettuce and cucumber peelings and some scraps...
they LOVE it...
For Supper we had Chicken Breasts, Yams, Peas and Carrots and Salad.
Chocolate Pudding and Graham Crackers for Dessert...
You would think that Max owns the place...
Oh yea, he does!!
Evening chores are done.
We are winding down and about ready to watch X-Men Apocalypse...
Goodnight Family and Friends...
