Quiet Time...
"Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage;
be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest."
Joshua 1:9 KJV

Last night while we were watching our movie...
These pups LOVE couch time...
any time day or night, if we sit down
they are right here!
Up and At 'Em!!!
Bible Study Time...
with Mags and Murph...
Lanny started a small fire this morning...
it isn't real cold but we LOVE the fire!
And Mitzi rarely pays any attention to it...
but she seemed to have discovered it for the first time :-)
Down for the count!
Day two germination...
No action yet with the lettuce...
it takes several days to sprout...
Rotisserie Chicken in the Freeze Dryer...
I am working on Mom's Parlor...
The Pile of Pups
in their usual spot!
iHeart Good Morning...
Max took over the hearth rug...
All stretched out!!
Out to the Barnyard...
Time change will change all this!
Not to the critters
but to us!
They just expect us out there at Sunrise!
whatever time that is :-)
Same pile...
just shuffling positions :-)
We are also putting some of Dad's
Navy plaques and awards on the walls in the Common Area...
We let the dogs out on the "porch"
now that it is expanded...
they enjoy it, but of course,
they'd like to be OUT where we are :-)
Lanny and I ran down to Oak Ridge
to delivery some bread to Viki...
Passed my Ponderosa Friends!
AND,
Lanny just had to stop at Waffle House...
He had Breakfast
but I had a Texas Steak Melt...
YUM!
Won't need supper tonight...
if we eat one big meal we are good for the day...
we will snack...
Look at the size difference in the regular Bull
and the Zebu...
Grabbed Mail on the way up...
We sat down with the Fur Kids and took a little snooze
when we got home...
Here are some pics of the progress so far...
Cutting more wood :-)
Going out to play with the critters a bit!
They LOVE animal crackers!!
I was walking the fence
and all the chickens followed me all around the yard...
Hmmmm...
that isn't a goat OR a chicken :-)
Fiona is just not sure WHAT it is...
We drove over to our friend Ross' house to pick up 40 pounds
of boneless, skinless chicken breasts from an Amish Community nearby...
Colleen drives up a couple times a year and gets it...
we bought a box...
Some of Ross' Chickens...
His dog Hunter herds the chickens back in the yard :-)
These breasts are about 2 pounds each
so we cut them in half to bag up for the freezer!
They are HUGE...
We got 32 quart bags...
I put them in the freezer
but I will probably take some out and cook them for the freeze dryer...
they are fresh and look SO good...
For supper Lanny made some Guacamole...
we had left over Rotisserie Chicken, Guacamole and Chips...
We are STUFFED!!!
Max wanted that chicken SO bad!!!
his mouth is covered with sores and he cannot taste
even if he could get anything down...
Tasha said he ate a little chicken noodle soup...
He is miserable, to say the least...
they will do the feeding tube on Wednesday...
Continue to pray for him please...
