Murphy went out with us this morning...
but he is always on the lookout...
the chickens AND the goats make him nervous :-)
Bernadette is right on his heels :-)
People often ask is you can raise Goats and Chickens together...
I usually just show them pictures :-)
The back yard grass grows SO fast...
he hit it before the rain moved in!
FOURTEEN eggs yesterday...
the most I have ever had in one day!!!
Does anyone need eggs!!!!
Sparkly Day...
Herb Half Wheat/Half White Bread...
AND...
boiled a dozen duck eggs for Egg Salad...
Looked at the camera
and caught Lanny turning the bedding in the coop for me...
he is a KEEPER!!!
It is misting rain...
Fiona does NOT like it...
I make sure there is plenty
of hay in the house just in case :-)
Ready to finish the knead...
...and put in the warm oven to rise...
First mess of the day...
Bacon pieces, good mayo and boiled duck eggs...
YUMMY Egg Salad...
I will share with Rob and Molly and Paula...
Berries to the kids...
...and the birds...
They nibbled a berry or two
but would MUCH rather have Animal Crackers :-)
Lanny is SO proud of his new weed eater (for $25)...
just needed the pull cord adjusted...
it was a $300 tool!!!
AND his "new" $700 chain saw
that he got for $95....
He really hit the jackpot on these...

came out to do some maintenance
on our Mini Split Units...
Fabulous Service!!
but pretty expensive...

It is raining so Lanny and the critters
are enjoying the sound of the rain on the metal roof...
SO NICE...
Four loaves of Herb White/Wheat and four loaves Banana...
What's for Supper?
Left over Hot Dogs...
I just cut them in half,
cover with chili and cheese
and bake just til hot...
YUM!!!
Then we headed out in the truck
(it was a bit wet to take the MULE)...
Lanny cut some Pine,
Honeysuckle and some Kudzu...
They LOVE it!
I deadheaded the roses and they LOVE those too!!!
So we are ready to get into our evening wear,
sit on the couch with the pups
and watch a movie...
Tonight will be "Looper"...
Bruce Willis, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Emily Blunt...
odd movie, but we enjoy it :-)
