Good Saturday Morning World!
...and a cool one at that!
My Cuddle Buddies...
And still the open door!
Love the early morning sounds...
Teeny Weeny first day Microgreen Sprouts...
Not sure what was on Max's mind...
I hope he wasn't thinking it might be
a good litter box...
But I DO know what is on Casey's mind...
it is nearly 6AM...
Maggie has the same thoughts...
Fed the fur kids
and headed out to the Barnyard Gang...
Maggie was turning circles!!
Morning Pup Pile Pickup...
And Lanny's breakfast audience...
Even Murphy...
he smelled chicken...
They use the fence as a scratching post...
Baby Tree Swallow waiting for Momma
and Daddy to bring breakfast...
My mechanic...
Usually it is a Mockingbird
sitting on the broken windmill
on top of the Pole Barn...
but this morning it was a
Cardinal!
Made Egg Muffins...
shared some with Rob and Nolan...
Lanny playing on his tractor...
Smoothing out the rock
in the Pole Barn Parking Lot...
The favorite spot for egg laying these days...
under the platform steps...
Ran down to Oak Ridge:
to Food City for some items for tomorrow's meal...
Home Depot for a big pot for my Butterfly Weed...
and to Willow Ridge for some algicide for the fish pond...
Then back home for a Tomato Sandwich...
And a short snooze...
Rob and Nolan working on
Nolan's living quarters...
Some new pictures of June Elliott and Sylvia...
SO cute!
We all think June Elliott looks like her Daddy...
An "old" butterfly on Paula's Asian Lily...
I say old because her wings
were a bit frayed
and torn...
but she was doing a great job,
none the less!
For Supper we had some of the
Rotisserie Chicken from Costco
(with a bit of BBQ sauce on it)
and Sweet Corn on the Cob...
SO delicious!!
And some Southwestern Salsa Ranch Salad...
and always Onion Slices!!
Our American Honeysuckle...
The ladies LOVE roses...
And I have to brag on our Grandson Isaac...
He works at MMC in the
Food and Nutrition Department...
people are always telling me how he took care of them
when they were in the hospital
and what a sweet and caring young man he is...
Well, his supervisors know it too...
This is such an awesome award
and we are SO proud of him!!!
Well, dinner is done,
chores are done,
goats are in their house
and the chickens have been fed their treats..
We are ready to clean up
and snuggle with the pups on the couch...
we will watch "American Sniper" tonight...
a sad true story...
God bless you, one and all!!
Goodnight
and
Sweet Dreams!
