Quiet Time in Bible Study...

๐Ÿงค

“By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. By this is love perfected with us, so that we may have confidence for the day of judgment, because as he is so also are we in this world. There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love. We love because he first loved us.”

‭‭1 John‬ ‭4‬:‭13‬-‭19‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.””

‭‭John‬ ‭8‬:‭12‬, ‭31‬-‭32‬ ‭ESV‬‬

My little crochet helpers :-)

during last nights movie...

I think she is comfortable!!

Hello Friday...
Baby, it's cold outside!!!

Snuggles!

Lanny got a roaring fire going...

And Max ran over to enjoy it!

But he couldn't pass up some

rubs and cuddles from his Daddy!

A cozy warm
Quiet Time Bible Study!

But yes, Janie,
he still goes barefooted...
even in winter!!

Whew!
a little more than we intended...
the stove temp was 900 degrees!!!

Murphy's turn!

I didn't get around to planting yesterday...

I am going to try again today!!

Finished my Christmas doily last night...
even with puppy help :-)

Murphy is definitely enjoying that fire!

I had to bring his breakfast close to the fire...

I have mentioned it before,
but the soundscape pictures are pretty
with iHeart Chrismas Radio...

Tag team,
now it's Max again...

Daddy's making his breakfast...

...and sharing it...

My Doily in it's place :-)

I think they ALL love this fire
as much as we do!!

Time to brave the BRRRRR!

The Barnyard critters never seem to mind...

Goats are waiting...
I always do a few things before I let them out...
I give the chickens and ducks some corn...
and Lanny gets their food down...

Murph is out...
this morning he was chasing chickens...
he is a mess!

We let him go back in before
I let the goats out :-)

Duck pond is frozen...
we could almost ice skate on it :-)

Pupsicle Patrol...
yea, at this temp they are hard as
little rocks :-)

Ethel and Lucy
think they are Goats :-)

The Fish Pond doesn't freeze totally over
because of the heater...

But the water fall is
really pretty!!!

Max is in Heaven!!!

Look at that stretch!!!
Maggie may be pouting...

Nice coals!!!
And the stove temp is hovering
around 400,
which is perfect!
It's keeping this big room
at around 75!!!

Stoking the fire!

Heading down the hill...
I need some material and a couple things...

He likes clean windows :-)

Paula has her porch all decked out!

Passed the ponies...

Stopped for Gas...
he also likes more than a half tank of gas...

Picked up some material and wrapping
paper at Walmart...

Made us some Fried Balony
when we got home...

A favorite sandwich!!

Maggie got a turn by the fireplace...

Kitchen tree...

...and one of the trees I got for Mom and Dad's
rooms a few years ago.. now in the dining room...
I gave the other one to Molly and Rob...

Lanny is putting up some panels along the bottom half
of this open side of the Goat House...
the slats are close but there is still a bit
of draft that comes thru...
they need a relatively draft free spot to sleep
so this should take care of that!

Of course the Goats want to help!!

Look at the Water Fall on the Fish Pond...
so pretty!

Max seems to get most of the
fire time :-)

George brought us 10 3/4" sheets
of plywood...
he had an excess and
no place to use it
so here it is!!!
Thank you SO much George...
we will definitely find a use for it :-)

We had BBQ Chicken over Lanny's favorite
elbow macaroni, Cavatappi!
In the South it is sometimes called
"double elbow" or "Scoobi-Doo"...
it is a curved helix shape...
they are cute!

Pretty Tasty...
It was Lanny's request...

The chores are done...
again I'll say, very quickly...
actually, as long as there is no wind
it is tolerable...

Tonight we will continue with our strange
Christmas movie choices...
"Lethal Weapon"...
we only watch the first one... the others
are too formula and the language
gets worse with each sequel...

 Goodnight my Friends and Family!!

God Bless You All

and

Sweet Dreams!!!

Always pray for our Country...

the only real way to

Make America Great Again

is if she turns back to God!
