Monday on Walden's Mountain... December 23

Quiet Time in Bible Study...

πŸŽ„πŸŽ

“And in the same region there were shepherds out in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were filled with great fear. And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.””

‭‭Luke‬ ‭2‬:‭8‬-‭12‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.”

Hebrews 10:24

“God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ…”

Galatians 6:14

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”

John 3:16-17

Hello Monday!

Another COLD Winter Morning...

Waiting for me to sit down...

Maggie was already close when I sat down
so she slid up next to me
and Murph had to go down to my feet again....
they quickly forget tho :-)
They are snuggled in those blankets
and that is the main thing!

Checked the Goat Camera
and they are cuddled together...
they have grown their thick winter coat
and don't seem to mind the cold at all...
their house floor is thick with
nice bedding, the walls are tight
so no drafts...
they are happy!

Getting a fire going...

Max is in a mood this morning...
Sometimes he is just more adamant
about the lovin'!

Quiet Time in Bible Study...
I am in Revelation... last book of the Bible,
last days of the year...
But Bible Project throws in passages from Luke
for these days around Christmas...
If you are looking for a great Bible Study
and a way to read the entire Bible
in a year,
The Bible Project is for you!!!
I've used it for years!!!

Look at that fire...
mostly blue flames
and warming up this big room nicely!!!

We ALL love this Wood Stove!!!

Garden Time:
Day Two Microgreen Sprouts!

Waiting for me to head to the kitchen...
Sorry Darlin's
I have to change the sheets first...
It's Monday!!

OK, OK, Time for Breakfast!
Max is nearly impossible
to coax away from the fire
so the last few days
I am feeding him here in the floor :-)

Saw this and liked it!

Stoking the fire with
"Baguettes and Biscuits"
(sticks and slices)

Now for Breakfast...

Waffles, Egg Muffin and Jelly...

And the little BEGGARS!

Max got a little warm
and rolled away a bit :-)

Out to the Barnyard!

Lanny poured out the muddy water
and made them a mud hole
and added clean water in their bucket...
which they will muddy up
in about three minutes...
Ducks are really DIRTY BIRDS!!!

Fish pond has a thin layer on top...
the heater is working perfectly!

I love this...

And since I am a HUGE Star Trek Fan!!!
I LOVE this too!!!

Making my Honey some Egg Muffins
for his Artistic Breakfasts...

I am also making Laundry Detergent...
I had Lanny carry in my Ingredient Basket...
WAY too heavy for me...
I may be getting into this invalid routine :-)

Muffins done!

Honey Do Job...
the tie back hooks were a bit loose
so he "mollied" them!

I think he is in a FirePlace Coma...

Cooling and Gelling...
This is concentrated
so when we put it in the dispenser
it is mixed one to one with water...
You need very little
so it lasts a VERY long time...
usually several months...

Here is the recipe if you'd like to try it...

More Honey Do...
The headboard was wiggly
and he fixed that...
with mollies...
this is the weakest sheet rock
I've ever seen!!!

So, for lunch I had
Red Chili Smoked Oysters
and Crackers...
is your mouth watering Viki? :-)

And Lanny had
left overs from last night...

Then we sat down for a rest...
not a nap...
I think we sleep better
if we don't take long naps :-)

Mediteranean Veggies
out of the Freeze Dryer
and in vacuum sealed jars...

Bringing in more
"Bread Sticks" (the little sticks),
"Baguettes and Biscuits"...

Berries to the Ladies...

Look at her little cowlick...
it's so cute!!

They both have one
but Baby's is more obvious...

Paula didn't want dinner tonight so
we figured we would do
Salad and Sardines...
she doesn't like Sardines...

...well, we bought some HOT
Sardines (accidentally) last time and
even tho I rinsed them off
they were HOT!!!

We ate it but our mouths are still burning!!!
our metabolism ought to be in overdrive after that :-)

Chores are done...
we are ready to call it a day...

Tonight we will watch
another
"Christmas Carol"
...we are renting this one
because we have never seen it...
it's a 1970 musical,
with Albert Finney...
If we like it we will buy it
and add it to our library :-)
otherwise...
"been there done that"
if you know what I mean :-)

I think I overdid it a bit yesterday
because I didn't have a real good night,
so I have tried to be more careful
and deliberate with my moves today...

I just gotta get well!!!

*****

Just two more sleeps 'til Christmas!!!

Good Night Dear Ones!!!

God Bless Us, Every One!

and

Sweet Dreams!!
