 Quiet Time in Bible Study...

Whoa!!!!

It's COLD!!!

Good Morning Monday!!!

Absolutely ready for a fire!!

Pups are snugglin'...

at this point we do have

good electric heat

so the house isn't cold

when we get up in the morning...

but we are ready with enough wood

and would try to keep the fire going

all night if we needed to...

if the power goes out...

Max is waiting for a pet,

but I'd say he is mostly waiting

to get first dibs on the hearth rug :-)

Quiet, Cozy Bible Study Time...

Checked on the girls

and they were cuddled in the warmest corner..

their winter fur is really thick

so I don't worry about them at all!

Garden Time...

Daddy's Breakfast Time...

They perform for a nibble...

Well, Maggie does...

Murph doesn't have it down yet!

Soaking Pepitas (pumpkin seed),

then I will dry them in the dehydrator...

...Also Sparkly Day...

Gotta get the thick coat and beanie on!!!

It is COLD!!!

The chickens also do not seem to care

much about the cold...

only we humanoids!!!

Maggie could care less how cold it is!

Very nice bed of coals!

The stove stays up to 600-700 optimally,

but occasionally gets in the red zone!!...900!

No worries...

burns out creosote in the chimney and 

quickly gets the room up to 80...

surprisingly, that isn't too hot for me...

the electric heat was always around 70-72...

strange thing...

Threw out some organic banana peels...

Maggie is getting more hearth time...

Watching the Inauguration....

Made Chili Mac for Supper...

YUM!!!

We will go out and put the Goats to bed

in a few minutes...

pick up the pup piles

and button up the Barnyard

for the night...

Then it will be Jammie

time for us

and snuggle time for the fur kids...

We really enjoyed the

Jack Reacher movies

and will watch another one on the

Tom Cruise Collection tonight...

We are thinking

"Days of Thunder"...

I will let you know :-)
