I started the fire this morning :-)
...and then sat down with my
Pups in a Pile...
Quiet Time in Bible Study...
The fur kids move
from one sleeping place to another :-)
Garden Time...
Day Four... going into Black Out...
Young Lettuce...
Grown Lettuce :-)
It may be time to repot my Eucalyptus....

Still giving this Spinach tray a chance...
Fur Kid Breakfast Time...
And Maggie finishing off the molecules
on Max's dish :-)

Left over Pasta, Soup, Chicken,
and a bit of Kim Chi...
He said it was FAB!!!
And the pups must have thought so too...
Out to the Barnyard...

We change into Chicken shoes to go out,
and back into Inside shoes to come in :-)
At least most of the time...

Sky just sent me these pics of Sylvia...
she was in the hospital for an overnight
EEG because she has epilepsy...
they routinely do this to see how she
is doing with the current treatment
and if any changes need to be made...
As you can see...
she is unphased :-)

that is such a sweet service!!

So, Paula had a doctors appointment at 10....
we worked out ahead of time to meet her at
Tractor Supply around 11...
so we headed down the hill...
Passed our Buddies in the Pasture...
Met her at Tractor...
Got some feed...
And then!!
Lanny treated us to
Golden Oak Chinese for lunch...
for a Happy Valentines Day :-)
Afterward Lanny and I went to Krogers...
I am doing some fermenting
and needed a few things...
On our way home
we saw the Bull Buddies
WAY up on the hill...
But the Camels were closer...
Then!!!
What a thrill...
as we turned in to the driveway
it looks like the gas line
is in process...
I CANNOT WAIT
to have my Gas Stove!!!!
Working on Clabber Culture...
It takes a few batches to get it
good and active
(kinda like sourdough)...
then I can make cheese, yogurt,
cottage cheese and use it like buttermilk...
Also got new kefir grains today...
same thing... you have to go thru a couple batches
before it is stable... then I can use my
fantastic goat milk for kefir!!!
Excited about that too!!!
We won't have supper tonight...
still pretty full from Chinese :-)
Heading back out for the evening
Barnyard duties...
It is a bit warmer
than it was this morning :-)
Put the Goats up for the night
and took care of all the
Barnyard chores...
Lanny did the Pup Pile Patrol
as usual...
The ducks were enjoying
and evening swim :-)
And the chickens love getting a scattering of
cracked corn and sunflower seeds...

It's been a pretty day
but a very cold start...
I think the colder temps are coming back
but...
can spring be far behind? :-)
