Last night...
The Goats after we put them in for the night...
they seem to like their home :-)
Hello Friday Morning...
Door is open
and we hear the whistle of the trains,
owls hooting at each other,
whippoorwill calls,
and the rain!!!
Max is waiting for Daddy...
And Murph is waiting for me :-)
I open the Big Bay Doors every morning
and this is the view of Paula's Barn and Stalls...
it is overcast this morning
and misting rain...
I can usually see the moon over the barn...
but nothing this morning....
And our entry way thru the Big Barn...
yea, I like lights on the trees
all year long!
Maggie came in from the bedroom
to join me on the couch...
Sunny Radio....
He doesn't just make breakfast...
he creates a Masterpiece...
And the Pups agree!
Out to the Barnyard...
it is sprinkling rain...
Pile Patrol... AM edition...
It isn't raining hard enough
to keep the chickens from Treat Time...
But even Baby doesn't
want to come out in this...
The Pond is staying so nice!!!
I think we have it regulated again...
took us a year to get it back
after the tragedy year before last...
we haven't lost another fish
for over a year!!
Fiona says "no"
to the rain as well :-)

Lazy, rainy morning...

The rain let up a bit...
They LOVE rose buds...
And they are good for them too!
Lanny is painting my Sunflower yard art :-)
It had faded totally blank!
...it is pretty again :-)
I made a
Discard Sourdough Crust
and Pizza for lunch...
the crust was too thick
so not that great,
but I will try it again
with about 2/3 less crust :-)
The topping was ok :-)
Enjoying the sound of the rain on
their roof AND the company of
Rotten Rhoda :-)
Taking a short break
from cleaning the Garden Shop...
They weren't cleaning
but they ALWAYS need a break :-)
I got my outdoor
potting table cleaned up...
Fur Kid Dinner Time...
Paula is hauling hay...
And Lanny does not let the grass
get very high back here :-)
even if it is wet!
For Supper we had
Rotisserie Chicken,
Baked Sweet Potato
and Salad!
YUM!
Rose Breasted Grosbeak!!!
Had not seen one up here in ages!
They are SO beautiful
and have an equally lovely song!
The Barnyard is buttoned up for the evening...we are getting ready as well...
tonight we will watch the next
"Terminator"...
