Quiet Time in Bible Study...
🏡🧑🌾
“Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a desire fulfilled is a tree of life. Whoever despises the word brings destruction on himself, but he who reveres the commandment will be rewarded. The teaching of the wise is a fountain of life, that one may turn away from the snares of death.”
Proverbs 13:12-14 ESV
“If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!””
Luke 11:13 ESV
“Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God,” for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempts no one. But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death. Do not be deceived, my beloved brothers. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.”
James 1:13-17 ESV

Hello to the Weekend!
of course, to retirees,
it's just another day!
Except this weekend
is Easter....
Waiting for me to sit down...
And Max looking for his Daddy...
also, there were a LOT of
coyotes out and about,
and he didn't like
hearing Maggie barking at them!
Finally, the coyotes moved on
and Maggie relaxed into her spot...
Bible Study and Pack Time...
Watching me as I do my
"first things first"
morning routine...

Lanny caught a big catfish
yesterday and forgot to

he always throws them back...
I watered all the outdoor garden
and potted plants this morning...
Here are a few pictures
of the patio and yard...

and peppers on the left...

are full of chives!

soldier fly grubs...
the chickens loved it :-)

is sitting on the deck of the fish pond...
I LOVE frogs!!!
Took the Pups for a walk...
Lots of Cherries on the Cherry Tree...
we never get any...
but the birds always have a feast :-)
We finally spoke to the men
cutting the trees around
power lines and told them
we'd take the wood chips...
First load...
and he said they'd bring
more if we want it...
We DO!!!

when he sees them...
they could care less
that he has the most
obnoxious bark of any
dog we've ever had
or heard!
:-)
We ran down to Food City
for a couple things for tomorrows dinner...
ate a piece of chicken in the Deli...
The Goats are in for the night...I am heading for the shower
and then Jammies...
