 Quiet Time in Bible Study...

🌸🌻

“But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons. And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!” So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and if a son, then an heir through God.”

Galatians 4:4-7 ESV

“I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit. I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full. No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you.”

John 15:1-2, 5, 11, 15 ESV

“The earth, O Lord, is full of your steadfast love; teach me your statutes!”

Psalm 119:64 ESV

“The plans of the heart belong to man, but the answer of the tongue is from the Lord. All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the spirit. Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.”

Proverbs 16:1-3 ESV

“and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.”

Ephesians 3:19 ESV

“Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.”

James 1:23 NIV

“For I know that nothing good dwells in me, that is, in my flesh. For I have the desire to do what is right, but not the ability to carry it out.”

Romans 7:18 ESV

Hello Monday!!!

Lookin' for his Daddy
to come in for Pack Time...

Bible Study...
to the sound of gentle rain...

Max went out
and didn't come
right in for breakfast as
he usually does...

Turned out he was outside
galavanting with the
little stray cat
that frequents
our Barnyard... :-)
He came in a little late...

Out to the Barnyard...
light mist of rain,
but no biggie :-)

The Duck Pond Fish
are at least twice as big
as when we got them...
we may go get a few dozen more...

The Koi Pond
is doing GREAT!!!
We are so thankful...

AM Pup Pile Patrol...

The Ladies won't come out
until the rain stops...

Treat Time...
aka Daddy's Breakfast...

I love my view
from the Kitchen Window...

I am SO excited...
the Soldier Fly Grubs
are finally taking over the
Bio Pod...
At first the fruit flies
and regular flys find the compost,
but once the Soldier Flies come
the other obnoxious flies skedaddle!

It has been raining off and on
so the girls keep going in
and out of the House...

If you notice,
Pepper is under the ledge
in a hollowed
nest in the bedding...
the chickens lay lots
of eggs there
instead of in their
nest boxes!

It just keeps us on our toes
hunting eggs...

Sparkly Day...

Lanny is spiffing up
his MULE...
He cleaned it
top to bottom!

The left side of the Pole Barn
is his outdoor shop...

He also spiffed up the Tractor...
it started sprinkling on him,
but he kept on washing it...

The Pups waiting for us
at the big barn gate...

For Lunch I made us
a Chicken Sandwich
out of some thighs
I regularly cook up and freeze in
small containers...
for just this use...
also, they make
a great snack!

This is Pepper under the ledge...

Fur Kid Supper...

And Max enjoying
a bonus cuddle time...

Made our Supper
out of left over potatoes,
some asparagus I had in the crisper,
broccoli and London Broil
I had cooked and frozen...

The Goats are in for the night...
the chores are done...

I still have a turkey in the oven...
I cannot remember when we got it
but I thawed it over the last several days
and popped it in this afternoon...
I will take it out,
put it in the fridge
and tomorrow Lanny will
debone it so
I can freeze dry some of it
and make some other dishes
with some of it...

I also started some sourdough
and it is now in the fridge
in cold ferment til tomorrow
afternoon when I will
shape and bake
some loaves...

Tonight we will watch
"Glory Road"...
based on a true story
set at Texas Western College in 1966
about the first all black
Basketball team...
it's a good one...
