 Quiet Time in Bible Study...

☔️🌂

“When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come. He will glorify me, for he will take what is mine and declare it to you. All that the Father has is mine; therefore I said that he will take what is mine and declare it to you.”

John 16:13-15 ESV

“Blessed be the name of the Lord from this time forth and forevermore! From the rising of the sun to its setting, the name of the Lord is to be praised! The Lord is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens! Who is like the Lord our God, who is seated on high, who looks far down on the heavens and the earth?”

Psalm 113:2-6 ESV

“Better is a little with the fear of the Lord than great treasure and trouble with it. Better is a dinner of herbs where love is than a fattened ox and hatred with it.”

Proverbs 15:16-17 ESV

“So then, the law was our guardian until Christ came, in order that we might be justified by faith.”

Galatians 3:24 ESV

“So you also must consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, to make you obey its passions.”

Romans 6:11-12 ESV

“Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting!”

Psalm 139:23-24 ESV

“Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death.”

James 1:15 ESV

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”

2 Corinthians 5:17

Hello Saturday...

It was NOT supposed

to rain...

Hopefully it won't go on all day...

we need to mow :-)

AND plant our new tree!

The door was open, of course,

and the rain DOES sound wonderful

on the tin roof...

And I heard a frog or two

over the rain noise...

The new girls are together toward

the middle back....

they are still young and kinda small,

so I figure they will

move to a roost eventually...

but the floor is nice, soft and dry...

the only problem

is that on the floor

they may get "poo'd" on :-)

The duck is smart....

she lays under the food bucket

so no mess on her!

These two cuddle near the door...
I guess they like to keep an eye on
the Barnyard :-)

Max went out and got soaked in the rain :-)
Daddy had to dry him off
before he could cuddle...

Fed the Fur Babies their Breakfast ...

Then Dad gave them their
"Treat" Breakfast...

My Screan Saver is Birds...
and the are so beautiful...
some recognizable,
but many are so exotic!

From the Kitchen Window...

Vision...
he is a pig with fins,
and watches me every minute
I am in the kitchen...

The new Ladies...
well, Girls...
they are still Teenagers :-)

Lots of blossoms on the Cherry Toms...

Poor little thing,
wet and had a broken wing...

Hens in the Goat House :-)

Watching the Baby Fishies...
there are several sizes
so they are still at it !!

Ran down to Home Depot
to get some soil
for the tree...
we forgot to grab a few bags
when we were there yesterday...

Passed our Ponderosa Pals...

When we got home this
little guy was trying to go thru
the Big Barn...
I put him in the grass on the side
heading the same way...

Made us a Grilled Cheese
for lunch...
we couldn't eat a whole one...
I need to half them from now on...
it was huge bread :-)

Digging for worms...

I mowed the back yard...

It got HOT out there!!!
and I got a bit of sun on my shoulders
and on my cheeks :-)

We are heading to Knoxville
to go to a
Celebration of Life
for the husband of my Boss at CSI...

I have been retired for 15 years so I didn't see a
lot of familiar faces, but did see several
of my favorites...
Weddings and funerals,
but mostly funerals...

There was an Aubreys close
and we stopped to get dinner...
Lanny had Steak and Potato
and I had the Asian Salad...
YUM!

And I ALWAYS
clean my plate :-)

So does Lanny :-)

Poor little Maggie just waits
by the door...
either sitting and looking
or standing there
peering out the windows...
they miss us so...
Murphy is on the rug to the left
and waiting as well.

*****

Got home and put the Goats in for the night...
Did what needed to be done out back
and we are ready for our evening...

We will watch
"X-Men: The Last Stand"
tonight...
we are starting late
and will probably be up
later than normal,
but we will survive :-)

Good Night Everyone...
