Tuesday on the Mountain... May 6

 Quiet Time in Bible Study...

“In the fear of the Lord one has strong confidence, and his children will have a refuge. The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, that one may turn away from the snares of death.”

Proverbs 14:26-27 ESV

“keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life.”

Jude 1:21 ESV

“For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin.”

Hebrews 4:15 ESV

“For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.”

1 Corinthians 15:22 ESV

All those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.

Good Morning Tuesday...

Another chilly start...

but the weather man is

calling for mostly sunny :-)

Went out to open
the Big Bay Doors
and heard sweet chirping...
Lanny's Shop Wren Babies
are out of the nest
and ready to fly away...

Waiting for Morning Pack Time...
Max is waiting especially
for his Daddy...

The Gangs All Here...

Lettuce Time...

Murphy was VERY slow
coming to the table this morning...

He finally came in...

Sparkly Day...

Not letting this boy out into the Barn yet...
and he KNOWS why!
He can hear those baby birds
but he is NOT gonna eat 'em!!!

Tuesday Fast Day...
But he gave them some
Oyster Crackers
and a few of the Cats Kibble
(They think cat food it a BIG treat)!

I went out to throw some
kitchen scraps to the chickens
before we let the Goats out...
Chickens can eat almost anything,
but the Goats should not...

They loved the left over
MimiLadas and Chicken and Noodles...
Yes, they eat Chicken :-)

Looking out the Kitchen Window...
it is getting light
earlier and earlier every morning...

Lanny is vacuuming his closet
and the front bedroom...
He is VERY sweet...
When he sees something
that needs to be done
he just does it!

Heading out the the Barnyard...
it is still pretty wet
but perhaps it will have a chance
to dry out today...

Digging for Duck Eggs...
they lay them in the Coop
and then bury them :-)

Then they went out for a bath :-)

Well, Momma Swallow isn't on the nest 24/7,
so I am assuming there are Babies...
I saw them taking turns going to the door,
presumably feeding...
but these Babies are very smart...
they stay low and quiet...
I cannot see anything!

A few Comfrey leaves for the Girls...

I LOVE our Fish...
They are SO beautiful!!

Cleaning the vac filter....
and watching out for the Baby Birds...

Every time I go into the
"little girls room"
this is my entourage... :-)

Ruminating in the sun...
they are SO happy it isn't raining today...

Max loves to circle up in his
Daddy's office chair :-)

He loves working in his shop...

They both ate the Sparkly Berries today...

But Baby got the most...

Fiona wanted the Oyster Crackers
and so did Rhoda...

Baby was scratching her back side on the
Milk Stand... She does this all the time...
They both do!

Fed the Fur Kids their Dinner...

Lanny, Paula and I ran down the hill
to pick up a prescription for Lanny
and to eat at the China Inn...
YUM!

Got home in time to
put the Goat in for the night
and give the chickens some treats...
They were getting some shade under
the Platform...

Time to call it a day...
Ready for Jammies and
Pack Time...

We finished Pirates of the Caribbean
last night, and tonight we will watch
"Shakespeare in Love"...
Joseph Fiennes and Gwyneth Paltrow...
if you haven't seen it
you really need to...
and it will be much more enjoyable
if you know the story
of Romeo and Juliet...
We always watch this one first
and then tomorrow night we watch
"Romeo and Juliet"
1968, with
Leonard Whiting and Olivia Hussey...
