Monday on the Mountain... September 1

 Quiet Time in Bible Study...

🏠🍁

“if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

2 Chronicles 7:14 ESV

“For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”

2 Corinthians 5:21 ESV

“We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation.”

Romans 5:3-4 NLT

Good Morning Monday...

Waiting...
they are so tired...
it's been seven minutes
since they got up...

Max is staring at the
bedroom door, waiting
for his Daddy to come in...

Figures he will
just go see what is
keeping him...

A VERY quiet time
of Bible Study...
no trains, no frogs,
no chickens and ducks...
just the soft sound
of crickets...

Took care of the indoor garden
and fed the Fur Kids...
decanted the Sparkly...

...Then headed out to the Barnyard...

My Groupies...

Red Sky at Morning...
but at the end of the day,
no rain :-)

It was so beautiful!

Pile Patrol...
Every morning and evening,
every day of the year...

I am not feeding the fish
in these cool mornings...
the water is pretty cool
and their digestion is not
optimum when cold...
I will continue to feed them
in the evening for a few more weeks...
Then they will be on a diet
for the winter :-)
I quit feeding them
when the water goes
below the 60's...
they slow WAY down
and eat organic stuff in the water
over the winter...

Hard to believe it is
September 1st!

Heading for the Gym...

Got there before the
sun peeked over the hills...

Shaving a few seconds
off my mile every day...

Interesting cloud formation...

Cows on the way home...

And Ponies...
I LOVE living in the "Country"...

Made us an Omelette
and Whole Wheat Toast for Breakfast...

...and gave the Critters
the Sparkly Berries...

The lone Duck Egg
has been in the Goat House
every morning for several days...
they like to keep us on our toes!

Notice the missing feathers...
that is the sign that
Bucky favors this lady :-)

And Bernadette has been
one of his favorites from day one :-)

Heading to Knoxville...
Three Rivers Market...

I needed some
Wheat Berries and a few other
organic goodies...
they have organic
bulk herbs and spices...

Portulaca growing
(and blooming) right in
the middle of our gravel parking lot...

We didn't eat lunch...
Breakfast was late,
so we rested for a while before
I fed the Fur Kids their
Dinner...

Then we ran down to Oak Ridge
to the Food City...
Passed our Camel Buddies...

A car was coming
or I would have jumped
out to pet her :-)

The Cebu ladies
were lounging in the grasses...

I love this Big Boy!!!

Well,
Lanny cannot pass the Firehouse...
without stopping in...

...and today it was the absolute
best Steak and Cheese we have
ever had there!!!

Dandy was waiting when we got
home for a Cookie or two :-)

Lanny is out on the mower...
he goes thru withdrawal when
the winter comes :-)(

I put the Goats in for the night
and secured the feed...
gave them all some
clean, fresh water
and buttoned up the Barnyard...

Lanny will get the Pup Piles
when he comes in from mowing...

In the meantime,
I am heading for my Jammies...

We will start Season 3 of
"The Chosen"
tonight...

If you haven't watched this series
you are missing a blessing...
We bought the DVD's so we
don't have to stream it
and can watch it whenever we
want to...
