Best way to "fry" bacon...

I always thought cooking bacon

in the oven would mean

a mess in the oven from splatters...

But it absolutely does not splatter...

and it "fries" up so even and crisp...

Out to the Barnyard...

slightly colder than it was yesterday...

Everyone, including Ethel,

is waiting at the gate...

Bernadette...

Pepper...

Fiona and Baby were anxious as well...

it is supposed to be dry today so they will be happy...

The sky was so beautiful!!!

The Ducks have found a new place

to lay... well, not new,

but they had been laying under the step

for weeks, and now for several days

he is finding the one egg in the coop...

some freeze dried and it was very good...

The Barnyard is ready for the evening

and so are we...

All the chores are done

and the critters have been loved on,

fed, treated and secured...

We will watch the last Bourne tonight...
