Quiet Time in Bible Study...

“And Mary said: “My soul exalts the Lord, And my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior. And His mercy is upon generation after generation
Toward those who fear Him.”
Luke 1:46-47, 50 NASB1995
“The Lord is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation; This is my God, and I will praise Him; My father’s God, and I will extol Him.”
Exodus 15:2 NASB1995
“Examine me, O Lord, and try me; Test my mind and my heart.”
Psalms 26:2 NASB1995
“There are six things which the Lord hates, Yes, seven which are an abomination to Him: Haughty eyes, a lying tongue, And hands that shed innocent blood, A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that run rapidly to evil, A false witness who utters lies, And one who spreads strife among brothers.”
Proverbs 6:16-19 NASB1995
“And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.”
Romans 8:28 NASB1995

*****
Max was watching the movie with us
last night...
Maggie slept thru it...
except at snack time :-)
*****
Good Morning...
Can you believe it is
already February!!!
Maggie strolled in from the bedroom...
And so did Daddy...
Max needed a rub or two...
And then we all settled down
for Bible Study Time...
Churches may be closed this morning
but that doesn't stop
us from worshiping!

Cozy in her blanket....
Max was too slow
so Murph ate his Breakfast...
actually, I just give Max
a few pieces of Chicken
so it isn't really Breakfast...
Murph gets Chicken on top of his
Kibble, but he thinks Max's
Chicken is better :-)
Milling some Wheat Berries
for today's Bread...
Max seems to really
love his Buddy Vision...
or perhaps he just loves
Vision's water :-)
Our Breakfast Time...
Avocado, Duck Egg and Bacon...
Out to the Barnyard...
BRRRRRRRR!!! 🧊⛄
I gave them some Hay
and Grain inside today...
it is SO cold
and their House is sheltered...

Getting that fire going...
Max is waiting...
Maggie didn't want to stay
in while Dad was starting a fire,
but I consoled her...
Bread Dough
is resting (it is called
Autolyse) for a bit before
I knead it...
We love this cheese from Aldi's...
it is SO good on our
Breakfast Eggs...
Max has to supervise...
Didn't catch Maggie in time..
she ran out for safety...
Making Waffles...
I use Einkorn Flour
(it is an ancient flour)
and Sourdough Discard...
I doubled the batch and made
some for Paula and for Rob and Molly...
Out the Kitchen Window...
Fiona didn't come out,
but she is standing in the sun
beaming into the doorway
of the Goat House...
Best thing to do on a cold, snowy day :-)
Or this...
you can tell Max is lovin' this!
Bread is done...
I made this with
Hard White Wheat and Kamut
and it is very soft and light...
Fur Kid Supper Time...
Spinach, Stewed Taters, Cornbread...
...and Pinto Beans...
YUM!!!
Rob came over to eat with us...
Molly was working and she
isn't crazy about this meal...
Rob, however, LOVES it!!
Heading out to put the Barnyard to bed...
it's still cold!
Had a bunch of those
migrating birds hanging around
in the woods behind us...
then they flew off...
They are quite noisy!
The Ducks recline while they eat :-)
All the chores are done,
inside and out...
I am heading for the back
to get into my Jammies
and get ready for
our evening entertainment...
Tonight we continue Marvel with
"Iron Man 2"
*****
Good Night Dear Family and Friends...
“If you lie down, you will not be afraid;
when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.”
Proverbs 3:24 ESV
