he uses his little propane
torch to start his fires...
it works GREAT!!!

Max definitely appreciates
his efforts...

a bit of Avocado...
trying to lose a pound or two...
actually, I need to lose 20!
Max thinks he is the center
of our life...
Heading out for the Morning
Barnyard duties...
Cold fingers, here I come...
I cannot do anything in gloves
so, barehanded, I end up
with numb fingers!
They were waiting patiently...

Three of the new girls...
these Buckeye are the noisiest,
neediest and most demanding
hens we have ever had!
Sweet Bucky...
he is a Buckeye as well,
but is Bantam...
don't know if it is the
Bantam part or that he is
a rooster, but he is
the sweetest boy ever!

Lanny wanted to take me
out to Dinner since everyone
is watching Sports today...
I don't like to pick so he always
gives me three choices
and I just pick a finger...
I am NOT picky
when it comes to food
so I am always happy for
him to choose...
The finger I chose
was Calhouns :-)
I always get the
Oriental Chicken Salad...
And Lanny always gets Catfish!!
Dandy wanted a treat
when we got home :-)
And the Pups were waiting...
Went out to put
the Barnyard in order...
discovered a hawk
in the middle of a meal
on one of my hens...
Rhoda
(a Rhode Island Red)... :-(
We got 8 eggs today...
the most this year!
The ladies are getting
back into the swing of things :-)
Everyone is ready for bed...
including us...
Tonight we are watching
"Guardians of the Galaxy"...
I LOVE it!!!
Lanny teases me because
all our movies are
my "favorite" :-)
