Last night's Movie Time poses...

Got up at the usual time...
it's 69 degrees and misting rain...
The door is open for
Bible Study Time...
Bucky is crowing,
the frog is croaking,
and there is a distant train whistle...
Perfect!
Looked out the window
and the three Littles,
who have been "broody"
in the nest box
(yes one nestbox, all three)
for weeks have
come out to wait for breakfast...
Heading out to the
soggy Barnyard...
we needed rain, for sure,
but not all at once!! :-)
If you remember,
we did have four of these
young Buckeye girls
but one disappeared many weeks ago...
probably a hawk but we
found no feathers...
a clean grab, I guess.
These are the ones that should
be laying most of the eggs
because they are young...
but they seem to lay very few
if any!

for our Yearly Wellness Exam...
Yea, we checked out AOK...
we are just getting old,
but there is no cure for that...
well, actually Heaven is the cure :-)
When we first left...

the chickens ran for cover...
We also went by the DMV
and I renewed my license...

Look at Baby's udder!
It isn't hard or warm.
She doesn't seem bothered except
that it is floppy and must be heavy...
I think I may have to get the vet out
to really look at it.
She was here a couple months ago
for their shots but didn't seem to
think it was anything but
precocious udder...
I may have to try to milk her...

Had a few moments of sun shine
and Lucy took the time to sunbathe...
Six eggs today...
