Friday on the Mountain... August 14

 🦎🍃

“Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong.

Let all that you do be done with love.”

I Corinthians 16:13-14 NKJV

“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, The people He has chosen as His own inheritance. Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, On those who hope in His mercy, Our soul waits for the Lord; He is our help and our shield. For our heart shall rejoice in Him, Because we have trusted in His holy name. Let Your mercy,

O Lord, be upon us, Just as we hope in You.”

Psalms 33:12, 18, 20-22 NKJV

“For to this end Christ died and rose and lived again,

that He might be Lord of both the dead and the living.”

Romans 14:9 NKJV

“He makes me to lie down in green pastures;

He leads me beside the still waters.”

Psalms 23:2 NKJV

“My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast;

I will sing and give praise.”

Psalms 57:7 NKJV

Last night's Movie Time...

Yes, I am crocheting...

*****

It's Friday...

Rise and Shine!

The Bats were out this morning!

I have been waiting to see them.

Couldn't get a picture of them

because they are too fast!

They dip and dive and catch insects

around the security light above the

Big Bay Barn Doors...

when I stand under the lights

I can feel the air movement

of their wings...

thrilling!

*****

Waiting for everyone to sit down...

I am not sure why

she is giving me that look :-)

Bible Study Time...

I didn't open the door because it's

already 74... but I could hear

the Wren and the Train Whistle :-)

I asked her if she

wanted Breakfast...

they all jump up

immediately,

stretch, and head

for the kitchen...

After Breakfast

they need a nap :-)

Heading out to the Barnyard...

Made Baby her

Sage filled Banana Slices :-)

Still resting...

I don't think they have

moved at all!

Making dough for Cinnamon Rolls...

Robbie's Birthday (number 56)

is tomorrow and he LOVES

my Cinnamon Rolls...

So does Lanny and Paula

so I am making enough to share

all around :-)

After first rise...

Rolling out...

Spreading Butter,

Sugar and Cinnamon...

... and rolling it up...

18 Rolls should be enough

to share...

Into the proofing oven

for second rise...

Yes, another nap...

It is definitely a

"Dog's Life"...

These two have it made as well :-)

Rolls are done...

cooling before I ice them...

I made us a

"Pizza" using tortillas...

not too bad!

Iced and ready to share...

We sat on the couch

and rested...

I snooze and Lanny

watches basketball or golf...

Maggie and Murph nap :-)

Making more soap...

in my new molds...

this was a small batch...

It started rumbling

and threatening rain

so the Ladies

are staying close to home...

I am sitting at the table

watching YouTube soap videos

and Maggie is now

napping beside me

on the floor...

The rain let up

so we ran out to shut up the Goats

and get everyone else

ready for bed...

*****

Tonight we will watch

"Rio Bravo"...

made in 1959 with

John Wayne, Dean Martin,

Angie Dickinson, Ricky Nelson,

Walter Brennan, and Ward Bond...

classic John Wayne

💕

Goodnight Everyone...

God Bless and Sweet Dreams...
