all the rest are freeloading!

Lanny had to go to the church to work with Bruce today so he missed lunch.

I made Mom and Dad a Turkey Sandwich with my fresh bread...

I ate the ends, as usual :-)

No nap.

I don't nap alone :-)

Lanny came home around 12:30 and headed out to mow...

I am learning about microgreens and grow lights online...

I lose track of time and haven't taken many pictures today.

Another fun project in the works.

I'll keep you posted as we move forward.

Lanny and I sat out by the pond and let Gabby and Penny entertain us...

they love to swim and dive and bathe with an audience...

My Marigolds did well this year.

For Dinner I warmed up left over Spaghetti, made a Salad and Garlic Toast...

Pudding and Graham Crackers for Dessert...

Kitchen is clean...

Chicken Feed is safely stored away...

Puppy Landmines are diffused and discarded :-)

I am ready to call it a day!!!

We may watch another Tom Clancy Jack Ryan tonight...

Patriot Games with Harrison Ford...

Monday in the Mountains... October 3

Quiet Time...

Daddy was up...

Made him some Breakfast Taquitos to go with his coffee and meds...

His First Breakfast :-)

Our Bible Study Pack Time...

They won't move 'til I say "Breakfast" at 6...

Then it's a Stare Down!

After Breakfast rest time for the pups...

Boy, it's a Dog's Life around here...

I got distracted again and Lanny had to go out and let the birds out...

No, I am just excited about our Indoor Gardening Adventure 

so I am absorbed by the internet searches for info!

I made Biscuits and Gravy and Bacon for their Second Breakfast...

Mom ate half a Biscuit and she LOVES Bacon!!

I like a window above the sink but this is second best!

More manure...

It's gonna be a spectacular garden next year!!!

The chickens came running 

and were gobbling up what fell out of the back of the cart!

They couldn't wait.

It is FULL of worms and other buggies...

Sugar wants first dibs!

Lanny called them the Compost Crew!

Then, NAP TIME!!

We got our grow lights... three were fine but one was broke...

Hopefully they will replace it quickly...

I am SO excited to get micro greens and some leafy green veggies going...

Max and Luke were enjoying the fall afternoon...

I threw all the leftovers from yesterday into a pot and made Soup...

It was delicious!

Remember, Waste Not, Want Not...

AND, my philosophy is that if you liked it the first go round it will be great in soup!

If you don't already do it, just give it a try. 

I make soup with just about any leftovers I have!

Chores done - check!

Jammies on - check!

Ready for a movie - check!

I think we are going to watch "Clear and Present Danger" tonight with Harrison Ford.
