Quiet Time...

Daddy was NOT up...

he didn't get up until right before 6...

we had a LONG uninterrupted Quiet Time...

Lanny got up around 4:45 and joined the couch crew...

Murphy and Maggie were really touching this morning...

both under the red blanket :-)

I got distracted with microgreens YouTubes again...

my chickens and ducks are going to run away from home...

The chickens were acting funny and I looked over and saw this!

Walking the electric fence and coming toward us...

She wanted in...

and she touched the fence and got a little shock.

She bolted but stopped and came back...

We turned off the fence so I could get close...

she let me pet her nose...

I LOVE deer...

She didn't want any corn...

she was just visiting.

She nibbled on the bushes and trees 

and just walked around the lot...

I hope she comes back...

The chickens got over it and went about their business...

Made Dad and Lanny a Sausage Omelet and Toast...

Mom ate some Egg and Toast as well...

I spent most of the morning learning more about micro greens...

We had left over Chinese for lunch...

And then napped for about an hour...

Goldie and Sugar did their duty...

Luke is right at home in the Common Area Library...

Mitzi was enjoying the sunshine...

For supper we had Pintos, Cabbage and Potatoes and Corn Bread...

Pudding for Dessert...

Watch Cat..,.

I had a LOT of trouble getting the pictures to populate the blog tonight...

No idea why that happens sometimes.

Anyway, I finally got most of them in...

Chores are done, 

Jammies are on,

We are watching "Next" with Nicolas Cage...

Wednesday in the Wood... October 5

Quiet Time...

Daddy was up...

Bible Study Time...

I love the book of Matthew!!!

Mom and Dad's Pill Prep Day for the week...

Thankfully they don't take many...

especially compared to the national average!!

Out to the chicks and ducks...

The trees are just barely starting to color up...

They were hungry... 

several of them jumped on the layer feed tray...

And always loving the scratch grains...

Made the men some Fried Eggs, Sausage 

and Toast for Second Breakfast...

Mom and I just ate a piece of toast...

I put homemade grape jelly on hers :-)

Water Kefir Day...

They came running from several directions :-)

for the berries...

Made Roast Beef Sandwiches for lunch...

Mom is eating pretty good...

she ate half a sandwich, some chips and a cookie...

Then Lanny and I headed to Claxton!

To check on some Rabbits.

We want to start raising meat rabbits next spring.

We met a great Christian brother, Ross Miller, 

who runs the Bear Creek Rabbit Warren...

He is going to have us two does and a buck ready next Spring.

We just have to get the hutches and other housing necessities ready before then...

...we are also hoping to start meat chickens 

and get a couple Nigerian Dwarf goats...

lots of prep to do before next spring!!

Lanny called in a Chinese Food order 

and he and Dad ran down and picked it up...

I had the night off!

YUM!!!

Chores are done...

so are the dishes...

Feed is put away...

Pup Piles are no more...

Not sure what is on the big screen tonight.

The Movie Man is still thinking :-)
