Last night while we were

watching our movie...

It's Friday!!!

Ready for the weekend!

He slept at his Daddy's feet

all night...

but he still waits

to cuddle in the morning on the couch :-)

Bible Study Time...

He sure loves his Daddy...

Lettuce Time...

Pecans and Almonds are drying fine...

they should be ready this afternoon...

Fed the Fur Kids their Breakfast...

Everything had such an unusual tint...

we thought the sunrise might be pink,

but it wasn't...

Daddy Treat Time...

Out to the Barnyard...

Pup Pile Patrol...

Well, the fish we bought yesterday

seem to be doing very well in the

Dirty Duck Pond...

none are floating

and they seem to

be happy schooling around.

Momma Mountain Swallow...

doesn't budge when I open the front

to peek at her eggs...

My Herb Garden...

Cherry Tomatoes are growing like

WEEDS :-)

Cucumbers...

Big Boy Tomatoes are slower growing...

Told you Miss Pepper

was a sneaky little gal...

She is in he Dog yard...

the grass seed is sprouted now tho

so she isn't getting any of that!

Finally, I see some green nubs

on the Fig Tree...

The Girls are enjoying

the fresh branches their Daddy brought them...

We headed down the hill

to pick up a mat and some

stepping stones at Home Depot...

and pick up a Tractor Supply order

for Paula...

Shetlands were out...

Passed the Ponderosa Guineas

at the bottom of our driveway...

they never stay home :-)

Sparkly Day...

Baby loved 'em today,

but not Fiona...

I called the Chickens

to give them some...

They love 'em too!!

The Girls also like

Oyster Crackers...

I think the new fish 

are going to be fine...

I opened up a little area we had

fence off for a previous project

and the chickens are now in

BUG HEAVEN...

Paula gave me these Asiatic Lilies

a few weeks ago that she just pulled 

out of her pot

and they are going to bloom!!!

Blue Bird Babies

are growing...

but smart enough not to move now...

I won't bother them anymore

because they will soon be big enough

that I might scare them

and they could fall 

out of the nest...

I am SO happy

that the pond is back to normal...

Baby likes to sit on the Feed Box in the shade...

Downey Woodpecker and Goldfinch,

together on the feeders...

Momma Mountain Swallow

getting a breath of air...

I decided I wanted to chill

a bit on the hammock...

Murphy came to join me...

When I laid down on the Hammock

I could smell the Wisteria

and the Roses...

Max liked it in the shade...

but he wanted to be out there

with me...

Murph laid beside me on the ground

but wanted shade...

Maggie however, wanted

IN my lap!

The other Climbing Rose...

I cannot wait for these buds to open...

it is called Legend of Rossi and is

deep mauve...

Afternoon Grain Break...

And nibbling with the chickens

in the newly opened area...

Getting out of the sun...

it's really quite warm today!

Fur Kid Dinner...

Made Salmon Burgers for Supper...

Went out to talk with the critters

for a bit before we buttoned up

It's Thursday

and the first day of May!!!

Comfy in his "dent"...

our last couch had the same dent

that was made by Maggie

because it sat in the window

and she could lounge there

and watch the world go by..

She sometimes still lays up here

but Murphy usually has the spot...

Bible Study Time

with the Pack...

Took care of the lettuce...

Fed the Fur Kids...

Nuts...

Soaked the Almonds over night

-they need more time...

and just started the Pecans this morning....

...they only need 4-6 hours...

The Almonds were ready 

to put into the Dehydrator...

Dad's Breakfast Time...

And Pup Treat Time....

Out to the Barnyard...

it is drizzling rain...

Fiona is not having it...

They are coming for Breakfast!

Made Brownies for the

Kids Game Night...

Fudge with crushed Potato Chips

inside and on top...

Molly LOVES these...

And Kefir in the incubator...

Wrapped up and ready to deliver...

Lanny is pressure washing the porch...

might as well, since

it is wet anyway :-)

Lanny's Shop Wrens...

They are close to fledging....

Bringing his new table out to the patio...

For now we will put it by the swing...

perhaps by the fish pond...

who knows?

The only place evolution exists

is in our back yard :-)

Cleaning...

Time for the Pecans

to go into the Dehydrator...

Soaking them and drying them 

makes them more digestible

and also makes it easier

for us to get all the

nutrients nuts possess...

Gonna make Tomato Sandwiches 

for lunch...

Finishing up his table...

Rainy morning...

The rain quit

and a bit of sun actually peeked out...

I gave the Girls some Rose Petals...

Lanny and I ran down to the pet store

and bought three dozen feeder fish

for the duck pond...

they are suppose to help

keep it clear of algae, bugs

and debris... we shall see...

Got back in time for

Fur Kid Dinner...

For Supper I made

Garlic Butter Noodles and

Chicken... YUM!

We put the Goats in for the night,

gave the fowl their treats

and picked up the pup piles...

Ready for Jammies and a movie...

Tonight we are going to start

"Pirates of the Caribbean"...

I love the series movies,

as you know...

Thank you ALL for your prayers for Lanny...

Doc says the kidney cysts are nothing to worry about

but that he does have a bunch of gall stones...

funny thing is, he is having no issues at this time

so we may just wait and see...

Our Wellness Exams are mid May

so we will talk to the Doc about it then...

she is out of the office this week...
