It's Tuesday! You know what that means...Family Night.
After setting out the ground beef and cake from the freezer I started in on some overdue homemaking assignments: I was out of Chili Mix, Taco Mix and Spaghetti Mix...I make my own spice blends. So I pulled out the spices and started mixing...
I was also out of laundry detergent...I have been making my own detergent for I don't know how many years!!! I use my lye soap, 20 Mule Team Borax and Soda...and voila! Low sudsing, fine for HE washers and no allergies...not to mention, clean clothes!
Freshened up the chicken coop with pine flakes and changed out the duck bedding...now they are all just as snug and bugs in rugs :-)
The duck box...only for sleeping...
The chicken coop is bigger and even the ducks come in here often during the day to get out of the wind or rain...
After a bit of lunch, you know what time it is...
NAP TIME! and all the fur kids are ready!
Now it's time to get started on dinner...Lasagna tonight for family night! I'll post those pictures separately for your viewing pleasure...

Dinner is over and everyone is gone home...well, many of them are already home but you know what I mean.
Lanny is out in the barn helping Robbie try to figure out why they keep blowing a fuse...I don't know if we will get to watch a movie tonight or not. So I will just work on calendars until bedtime...
