It's Saturday...
I have been anxious for today because we are going
to go out to Krista's Farm (Curtis Watkins Farm) for their first
"Festival Fun at the Farm"...
Krista is our daughter-in-laws cousin...
we also became friends on Facebook
because we both love to bake and "homestead" :-)
*****
Rise and Shine!!!
Maggie lost her number one spot,
but she is ok with it once she forgets
Murphy is under the blanket :-)
Bible Study Quiet Time...
the mornings are cool
but there isn't a lot of activity out there
for some reason...
Progress on a new one last night...
I LOVE this color and wanted to make something
with a couple skeins I inherited...
It will be Christmasy!!
This one is finished
and is SO nice...
the camera does not do the colors justice.
It is very deep and Fallish!!
My Microgreens are NOT doing well
for some reason...
I am thinking it may be the last lot of seed...
the lettuce, however, is doing pretty good!
Daddy's Breakfast Time
and the little beggars hover!
Cut some Microgreens
for Rob and Holly...
Sparkly Day...
Out the the Barnyard...
Took them a few minutes to notice the tray...
...because I threw out some oyster crackers...
Ethel and Lucy missing out...
It is their choice!
Egg hunting...
we got 8 eggs yesterday
but it seems so slow right now...
Sparkly Berries for Baby...
Fiona just wasn't interested today...
I threw half of the berries to the chickies...
People always ask if the chickens and goats get along...
You all know they do!!!
So, we headed for Philadelphia/Loudon Tennessee around 9:15...
It is such a beautiful drive!
I crocheted a little and we listened
to some "Anniversary" music
that James recorded for us on one
of our anniversaries... some old love songs :-)
Found our way to the Curtis & Watkins Farm
and explored their beautiful grounds...
lots of fun for kids
and lots of crafts and vendors...
I hope they will start doing this
every year!!!
This is Krista...
We ate some lunch, roamed around sight seeing
for a while and then headed toward
Clinton/Oak Ridge...
We stopped at the Food City
to pick up a few things for tomorrows dinner
and then passed our Camel Buddies
on the way home...
I LOVE our home!!!
Then, we sat down with our pups
and the cat, who ALL missed us very much,
and took a little siesta...
We will snack and mince tonight
because if we eat mid day
we usually aren't hungry enough
in the evening for a real meal...
*****
Well, the chores are done,
it has been a FUN day!!!
Tonight we will watch the next
"Men in Black"... #2

Goodnight Family and Friends!
God Bless
and
Sweet Dreams!
