This was last night...I had double dippers! Max on one side and Murphy on the other. These fur kids LOVE ice cream!!
It was raining this morning but not too hard, so I rushed thru my chick and duck chores....they don't mind the rain at all!
The dogs don't like it much so they laze around big time on rainy days!
...and Max thinks that this is HIS chair. Mom often has to run him off at meal times.
I think he hides from the canines this way :-)
I'm glad we put the ottoman back in front of the fire. The dogs have enjoyed warming themselves. They just didn't do it on the rug...
My Dexter knives came in today. I have never bought really good knives and these are REALLY good...
I have some Cutco knives that we bought from Kyrtis (our grandson) when he was selling them and they are pretty good, but I only bought the bread knife and two steak knives. That wasn't quite enough for a chef :-)
I made a Quick Apple Cobbler with the apples Paula put up this fall...
...and fried up some chicken legs!!
We had Chicken, Roasted Potatoes, Greens, Biscuits and Cobbler for Dessert...quite good!!!
Lanny did Puppy Pile Patrol while I put the chicks and ducks to bed...
Paula and Mom set up a puzzle in the "parlor" in hopes that Dad would enjoy working a puzzle now and then...he gets so bored...
So Lanny is in the shower, I am in my jammies finishing this post and the pups are waiting for movie time...tonight is Mission Impossible #3.

I need a good set of knives. I think I will look into those. Hope you are all staying healthy. Five more days till we can get the surgery counting the days down!
