I love coming out to the bay doors and looking at the sky in the morning...the beautiful, bright morning star is there but my phone camera just doesn't want to capture it...I guess it is just for me....
...enough of the heat wave, right! It is just a bit cool this morning...
Ducks and chickens are out and about!
....and my little jeweled buddy is still going strong...the nectar was slushy ice but he didn't seem to care...I am still amazed that they are here roaming around in these cold temperatures!!
I did some house cleaning this morning...changed all the bed sheets (Mom and Dad have separate rooms, and ours) and vacuumed the whole house...dusted a little and then made fried bologna sandwiches for Mom and Dad and Paula...
The bologna looked like a flower :-)
The dogs liked the smell of that bologna, but Mom and Dad have been forbidden to share at the table...it's taken us a long time to even curb that nightmare! Five dogs seriously begging at the table is a bit much...at least now they just stand around and look at us...maybe a few more years and they'll know what "NO" means!
Lanny went out to Danny's to help do some work so I sat down with the pups for a little while after lunch...
After a little rest and relaxation I finished up the vacuuming and dusting and started on dinner...I made Spaghetti...Monday is becoming Spaghetti Monday now. It is definitely a favorite around here!
So, Lanny is in the shower, the ducks and chicks are snug in the coops and I am sitting here finishing this up and getting ready to settle down for the next Harry Potter...The Order of the Phoenix.
A bit of popcorn will make it perfect...
