Quiet Time....
“But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.”
Isaiah 40:31
*****
Normal morning...Bible reading, puppies, cozy fire, quiet time....
Dad slept in til around 6 (he usually is up at 4 when I get up)...he has his days and night mixed up! I gave him his meds, made his bed, fed the pups and kitty, made our bed and fiddled around in the kitchen...
We headed down the hill around 9:30 to get Mom and Dad's Covid Vaccine...the appointment was at 10 at the Health Department so we were there til after 11 :-) but the first ones are done! We go back on March 5th for the second.
We ate left over hamburgers for lunch and Lanny and I managed a short siesta....
then we ran down to Home Depot to pick up some vinegar for him to clean the wood cook stove with. He has been reading up on the best way to get the rust off and restore (as much as possible) the stove. It is so beautiful, even rusty, so I am sure he will get it looking great!!
I made chili with the left over pinto beans from last night (and gave Robbie 2 quarts so he could make chili as well...they are staying in Oak Ridge with Molly's Mom while Rob works on their house over here... they are making some changes and the construction makes it not very livable at this moment)...
Lanny always picks up the plates and bowls to take to the kitchen...he is quite the kitchen helper... and then heads out to do the Potty Patrol...I snapped a photo of him thru the dining room blinds...
I put the chicks and ducks to bed, filled all their buckets with fresh water and I'm in for the night...
Lanny is in the shower as I finish up this post...I am already in my jammies...pups are staring at me from the couch and we are all wondering what's on at the movies tonight...last night was Jewel of the Nile...not sure what follows...we shall see. But whatever it is, I think there will be popcorn and ice cream from the snack bar...
Love you ALL!!
Goodnight, and God bless us, one and all...
