Morning chores (inside) are done...waiting for sunup to go outside to the chicks and ducks... in the rain....

I soaked pintos all night for this evenings dinner...

Boiled some duck eggs... LOVE boiled eggs with pintos and stuff!

Pups still relaxing from the morning Quiet Time :-)

Pretty morning sky but very wet!!

I got to wear my brand new rain coat! It worked very well :-)

I fed Dad and Lanny some eggs and toast for breakfast...

Lanny is working on the wood stove...it's a little rusty, but all the parts are here and all are in good shape...can't wait to try it out...

I put the beans in the InstaPot... and walked away...

I love the view from my kitchen window...

several cardinals, a blue jay and some house finch in this one little tree...

...and my little jeweled buddy...

Tried to take a little nap but for some reason every body needed something... after I had to jump up twice I just decided to skip it :-)

Lanny carried in the really pretty cabinet Paula is trading out for a bigger one Molly and Rob don't want to use...it fits perfectly in our huge bedroom and I can use it for the extra sewing stuff...

Lanny had to go in to church for a couple hours...still working on the sound set ups for the concert...

I started dinner...I love my new knives!

...Fried Potatoes...FAST!!

So... we had Pintos, Fried Potatoes, Spinach, Cornbread, Boiled Duck Eggs... I ALWAYS overeat when we do this meal!

Lanny did the Landmine Scan and I put the chicks and ducks up (in the rain)...

We are clean, in our jammies and ready to start Jewel of the Nile...
