Quiet Time....
“saying, “Father, if You are willing, remove this cup from Me; yet not My will, but Yours be done.””

More heavy rain and a terrified Pup...Mitzi hates loud rain... fortunately, no thunder this morning...that is even WORSE for her...
She is under the leopard blanket, Maggie is under the dog blanket and Murphy is under the black and tan checked...and I am pinned to the side of the couch :-)
But they are happy...
I made our bed, filled Mom and Dad's weekly meds trays, fed the fur kids and played in the kitchen for a while......then headed out, in the rain, to let the feathered kids out...
...from the kitchen window...
I did get three eggs but didn't take my phone out in the rain...you will have to take my word for it :-) and later in the day I go a chicken egg...
Rob was helping a friend this morning so James and Austin worked a bit without him...
When Rob came later in the morning they continued to work on the bedroom...
I fed Mom and Dad and Lanny some Ramen and took some ham sandwiches out to the "construction crew"...
Then Lanny sat down to rest a bit before we went to get Sadie...
We picked up Sadie at her bus stop and headed home......she worked for two hours on an essay for school...
Lanny is still organizing and prettying up his shop...
The fur kids waiting for our return, every time we go out the barn door...
I made Mexican for dinner...Sadie likes it and so do we...Sadie went out to play with the horses and after I cleaned up the kitchen and put the chicks and ducks to bed I went out to visit with Paula and the horses myself...
It's still raining (and a bit chilly) so I didn't stay long :-)
Lanny is in the shower and I am finishing up this post...
I think we will watch the Star Trek Nemesis tonight...
Goodnight Y'all...
Oh, I thought I would share a photo taken probably 45 years ago at Mom and Dad's house in Alabama...I was out by the lake and a Mama Duck and her babies just came right on over for a visit...I guess they could tell I was someone that LOVED critters :-)
I can't remember what I was eating, but I shared a bit...
