A Day in the Life / Friday, May 21

Quiet Time.....

“For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.”

‭‭Philippians‬ ‭1:6

.....

Our usual Bible buddies minus Max...he was actually in the chair at his Daddy's feet...

After Quiet Time I went back to take Dad's meds and water to him and he was sitting in his chair panting...he had made his own bed!
Stinker. I told him not to do that again :-)

We caught the second partner in crime last night...I think he was trying to make sure that the possum didn't get that piece of strawberry cake...big mistake!
The possum wasn't on the trap door end :-)

So I went out to take care of the chicks and ducks and they were a little annoyed by the visit...

Poor little feller...Lanny took him over to the edge of the property where he let the other one go...we shall see if they return...

Oh look, they're writing in the sky again...

Did a little walk around the yard...
the potatoes are coming up...

The Carolina Jasmine are doing well... the saying is that the first year they sleep, the second year they creep and the third year they leap...this the second year...

These birds were waiting until I left the driveway where all the corn and seed is scattered...

Paula was putting out a bit of hay...

...for after the horses ate their breakfast...

There are three water lilies out today...

I watered the potted plants and anything that looked a bit dry...
Lanny worked in the pole barn on his shop area...
We ate left over pizza from last night...
it was just as delicious today...

Then Lanny and I took a little rest...we haven't had the opportunity for awhile...

...the dogs and cat were thrilled!

Nathaniel had a visit by his other grandparents...
Carolyn and Teddy...
He is making progress on his Tiny Home...

I planted more beets, some beans and some okra to replace the mess the raccoons made...hoping they don't come back...

For dinner we had Salmon Patties (left over and frozen from another dinner), Normandy Veggies and Corn...
Brownies for dessert...

Lanny picked up the puppy piles, I put the chicks and ducks to bed and filled their water ponds and buckets...

We are in our jammies watching the last Pirates: Dead Men Tell No Tales...
I am ready for popcorn...

Goodnight Y'all...
Sweet Dreams...
God bless...
