Friday on the Farm... May 6

Quiet Time...

“For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men,
the man Christ Jesus,”
‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭2:5‬ ‭

*****
Dad was up... :-)

Made him a Breakfast Burrito to go with his coffee and morning meds :-)
I don't know what happened to this picture... I think I swooned!

Then sat down with my fur babies for Bible Study...

Mitzi had to think about it for a few minutes...

But she finally made it up...

Just in time to get a neck massage from her Daddy :-)

Spy cam... those people look very comfortable :-)

Hit the floor at 6 am...
made the bed, fed the fur kids
and headed outside...

Sprinkling rain but a very comfortable temperature...

Gabby and Penny...

Fish were hungry...

This is an Egyptian Walking Onion...
It's a Perennial!
Wendy gave it to me and I need to learn what to do with it
to make it continue to produce...
I'm going to call her for some advice...

but for now it is really quite lovely!
I need to eat some of it...

Chives...

Maggie camped out in Dad's room when he got up...

I made them some French Toast Sticks for Breakfast...
and headed back out between the rain showers to see the flowers...
The Wisteria is blooming!

Verbena... the butterflies and hummers LOVE this stuff!

Lanny is burning a walking cane he is making out of a cedar branch he found...

It's gonna be gorgeous when he seals it... it smells heavenly!

Made some Turkey Sandwiches for lunch
and then Lanny and I sat down for a rest...
Mom and Dad laid down as well...
and the dogs LOVE nap time!!

Went out to check the nests...
A Pearl White, Coconut, Goldie and Willow...
Seven today, so far... one of the Maran's may lay one...

These ladies are crazy!
They all want the same nest box at the same time!

For Supper we had Country Fried Steak with Gravy, Baked Sweet Potatoes,
Green Beans and Carrots and Rolls...

Mom ate in her room but she says she may try coming to the table tomorrow...

We hurriedly picked up the puppy piles and got the chicken feed put away before the storm hit... Wind like you wouldn't believe. I was running around putting my potted plants in corners to keep them from blowing over. It is VERY windy up on this hill!!

Lanny is finishing some work on Mom and Dad's shower and I am in my Jammies finishing this post. We have two more JW movies to watch...
Rooster Cogburn and the Lady and True Grit...
I'll let you know tomorrow which one we pick...

Goodnight Y'all...
God bless you One and All!!
Sweet Dreams!
