Daddy was up...

Lanny joined us around 4:30...

Max even joined us today...

The fur kids were waiting "patiently"...

Wednesday is Meds day...

Time to head for the chicken lot...

Penny egg in the middle of the coop floor...

And also Goldie dropped hers under the roost during the night...

Most of the birds are molting... Willow looks awful!

From the kitchen window...

We had left over Sloppy Joes for lunch 

and Lanny and I did take a snooze after the meal...

I didn't take a lot of pictures today... I have been watching 

an online Traditional Skills Summit and that has been very distracting! 

I'm learning a lot about milking goats, sourdough bread, Sally Fallon's bone broth...

For supper I made some Pork Loin, Cabbage and Potato Stew...

added some Yams on the side for color :-)

Lanny had to go to work at the church so he picked up the puppy landmines 

before he left and I put the chicken feed away... 

I am soaking some wheat and spelt berries to sprout and dry so that I can mill them in my grain mill and make some healthy whole wheat bread. I used to do it a lot but had not done it in the last year or so... I am ready to get back into it... 

the bread is so much better for us... nutrient dense 

and full of so many healthy benefits not found in store bought flour.

I am ready to get into my Jammies and watch some Star Trek in the background while I am looking up bread recipes and canning tips... 

no movie tonight and Lanny won't get home til around 8:30...
