Wednesday in the Wood... October 12

Quiet Time...

“You also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming
at an hour you do not expect.””
‭‭Luke‬ ‭12:40‬ ‭ESV‬‬

*****
Sadie had her hair put back to it's natural color...
I love it!!!

And...
we are going to get bunnies in the spring...
Our new friend Ross, owner of the BearCreek Rabbit Warrens,
who will be supplying our bunnies,
sent us this meme...
Lanny loves it :-)
I may have to make him a shirt!!

*****
Dad was up and waiting for First Breakfast...
Egg and Bacon Taquitos...

Murph on the right...

Maggie on the left..

And Maxey with his Daddy...

For a little while...
he likes to sprawl in the middle of the floor...
right where you need to walk...

I saw a little red out the other end of the barn (the eastern sky)
and had to go get a picture of it...

Heading out back to the chickens and ducks...

Goldie laid her egg in the night...
it was under the roost...

Made the men (and Mom) some French Toast Sticks and Sausage...

Mom just ate the stick without syrup :-)

Hard to see him, but this is becoming one of Max's favorite spots in Mom's room...
in her chair on a folded up comforter...

One of the turtles is out on this warm sunny day...

Well, Lanny has the lights up over one of the tables and I have planted some different greens, lettuce and spinach varieties... I will keep you posted!

Grilled Cheese for lunch...

We also refreshed the dust bath for the chickens.
They LOVE to dust bathe...
sand, ash and lime...

And Gabby swimming for our viewing pleasure...

Gave my babies some lettuce... they love lettuce...

For supper we had Chili Mac with my home canned chili...
YUM!!!

Lanny is on his way to Mid Week Service...
I am finishing up this post and ready to put my jammies on...

I will do what I usually do on Sunday and Wednesday evenings...
Star Trek and Instructional videos about my interest of the week :-)
...actually, it's either gardening, rabbits, chickens, goats, micro greens...
very exciting and racy stuff!!!

Goodnight Dear Family and Friends...
God bless you ALL!!!
Sweet Dreams...

“The bow cannot be always bent without fear of breaking.
Repose is as needful to the mind as sleep to the body…
Rest time is not waste time.
It is economy to gather fresh strength.”
Charles Spurgeon
