Quiet Time...
"Death and life are in the power of the tongue:
And they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
Proverbs 18:21 KJV
*****
Wake up sleepy heads!
Dad didn't get up til about 5:30...
I was ready for him and finished with my Quiet Time...
worked out perfectly!
When I get up they don't move a muscle...
Well, except Maggie sometimes looks to see where I am going...
Day three in Black Out and Day two...
one more day for the first one, two for the other...
Another two days of weights...
Out to the Barnyard...
Somehow Nebula fell into the duck pond...
I think Bucky snuck up on her and she flew right in...
anyway, the ducks were squawking and I heard some splashing
but when I got there she was quietly floating along
like nothing was wrong...
I just reached in and picked her up
and set her out on dry land...
she preened and primped for a LONG time...
I don't think she liked it at all...
Planted a new Microgreen Tray...
Eggs are finished freeze drying and ready to package...
Of course I have SO much to do this morning
and I am trying to get everything done
before I head down for an 11:00 appointment ...
Feeding Goats and Chickens..
I had Sparkley to decant as well
and they were running for the berries...
The goats are not amused :-)
They laid here by the gate off and on all morning...
I was so busy that I didn't go out as much as usual...
I will make it up to them :-)
Put some Fire Roasted Sweet Peppers
into the Freeze Dryer...
Got them at Gordons and they are SO delicious.
Cannot wait to see how they work in recipes!
Headed to Briceville around 10:30 for 11:00 lunch..
most of you know that for years our church did a monthly
ministry lunch and fellowship/Bible Study
at the Briceville Friendship Center...
when COVID struck we were shut down.
Then when we were cleared to return
so many of the ladies (including me)
were no longer able to go...
well, the Briceville ladies invited us to come
and enjoy a meal that THEY were preparing for us...
It was so SWEET!!!
Teina brought goodies to give out as door prizes...
she still had a room full of goodies
left over from before COVID...
Lots of Familiar Sweet Faces!
Teina gave the usual greeting and blessing...
And the Briceville Ladies outdid themselves...
it was delicious!!!
And my door prize was perfect for me...
Long story, but the song "I Can Only Imagine"
is very special to me
and that is what is on this picture!!!
I LOVE it!!!
for Supper... I was still full from lunch!!!
We watched "Night at the Museum"
last night...
Tonight we will watch the second one...
Goodnight Family and Friends...
no snakes or bites today...
and I only saw one big Possum
out beyond the perimeter
NOT inside our fence :-)
God Bless
and
Sleep Sweetly!!
