forgot to take one when Lanny joined us...
I am in Proverbs right now and I always enjoy reading them...
I think I was Biblically distracted :-)
It is kinda cute how the greens try to peek out from under the side of the cover...
it needs one more day of black out even tho the very ends have been cheating :-)
Will be ready to harvest in a day or two...

I am doing round loaves since these are for us...
I love the round slices AND I am going to make Sloppy Joes tomorrow
and will slice a couple loaves longwise and bake the Joe's...
I will take some pictures when I do.
Dad and Lanny went down the hill to pick up a mole trap at Ace...
we are SO tired of the moles tearing up the yard,
and now under the coop and goat house!
Oh, we bought a Goat Milking and Hoof Trimming Stand!
Now we just have to learn how to trim hooves...
Bread is done...
Made the men a Sandwich and Chips for lunch...
And yea! "Someone" ate the heels of all four of these loaves...
It was me if you couldn't guess that...
I LOVE the ends with butter...
that was my lunch!

The goats were enjoying an afternoon snooze while it rained...
there were several chickens siting in the doorway...
Peppers from the garden today...
We had Grilled Cheese Sandwiches
and Tomato Soup for Supper...
So all the chores (that we could do)
are done...
I will have to wait for a break in the rain
to run out and close the Goat House door...
