Good Friday Morning!
All three waiting for their Daddy to join us...
After our Quiet Time comes Microgreen Time :-)
These two are ready for some light!
Needs another day or so of Black Out...
Third Day Germination...
I will harvest the bottom two trays today...
Lazy Dog Days...
Out to the Barnyard...
it isn't raining today!!
Their Grains first...
Then the Timothy Grass...
Elsa did lay an egg in here...
Still waiting for these two to lay one...
Still here...
they just changed places...
Prepping some green onions for the freeze dryer...
they will be freezing in the regular freezer until the freeze dryer is ready.
I put the diced tomatoes in there this morning...
Also harvested two of the Microgreen Trays
and will freeze dry one tray of those...
the rest go in my fridge for our salads
and in Robbies fridge for their salads...
Rob and Molly like the greens too!
Trays out to the barnyard...
Baby is NOT amused...
she would much rather have an animal cracker...
So would Fiona...
Made the men an Omelet
using my freeze dried eggs...
there is absolutely NO difference in the taste or texture...
they are delish!
I put some freeze dried green onions,
freeze dried cheese, bacon bits and voila!
YUM!
Added some home grown tomatoes before serving...
They hang near the gate just hoping I will be out with a treat...
I put out new hummingbird nectar in the feeders this morning
and even the hummers were hanging around
waiting for me to bring them back out...
that seems to be my main job around here...

Sparkley Day...
Lanny brought up some new pear and willow branches for the kids!
And I brought out the berries...
today Baby decided she really liked them!
Cleaned the bowl!
Paula is helping Lanny with the tractor today...
Neither of the men were very hungry
so I made them a Black Forest Ham Sandwich and they split it :-)
As for me....
I had a Peanut Butter and Potato Chip Sandwich :-)
Opal...
and she DID lay an egg..
So did Nebula...
Now this is a Penny (duck) egg...
her eggs are always oblong and odd
but this one is especially long :-)
The tomato plants are going crazy...
I freeze dried some last week...
looks like I may have to freeze dry some more...
I LOVE the Chocolate Cherry on the left...
SO tasty!
So, tonight I made Chili Mac
using some of the left over chili from this past week...
One day on Baked Potatoes, one day on Hot Dogs
and now tonight the last of it for this!
Waste Not, Want Not!!
Waiting around the gate for us to come out and do the evening things...

Oh, and there are a lot of treats
being distributed...
but not all on the same day :-)
Chores are done...
Time for Jammies and a movie...
Lanny hasn't decided yet
