Quiet Time...
"But let judgment run down as waters,
and righteousness as a mighty stream."
Amos 5:24 KJV
*****
Good Saturday Morning...
Dad was up when I got up
so I got him situated and then settled in for Quiet Time...
Mags and Mitzi waiting for their Daddy to join us...
Ahhhhhh....
Daddy needed a new tank of air about half way thru
my "Quiet Time" and also got his headphones
all tangled up... but I still had a nice study hour :-)
Microgreens are green and growing...
Fed the fur kids, made the bed,
emptied the dishwasher, etc., etc....
then, out to the Barnyard...
Ducks diving for who knows what!
Even saw one of the turtles...
Their habitat is very dense right now
and I don't bother them so I don't see them every day...
but their food is always gone so I know they are in there...
Lanny is already busy in his pole barn shop...
And the pups are taking one last nap on this ratty couch...
we will get our new one later this morning!!
So, if you have trouble with fruit flies in your kitchen
I recommend these sticky things...
they are gross when covered with flies
but better stuck here that swarming all around me
in the kitchen.
I have so many things fermenting
and cooking all the time so I naturally have fruit flies.
But these little traps are great...
no chemicals, no smell, and they work!
Put out three new ones today...
this time of year they last maybe three days
before they are FULLY COVERED with buggies!!!
Made the men a big Omelet and some Toast
for their Second Breakfast....
Also cut up a few of our own tomatoes...
Lanny brought the tractor up this morning.
I had forgotten how pretty it is...
And Robbie worked a little
on the foundation holes for the Breezeway...
Sparkley Day...
And Animal Crackers for my Girls...
So, Dad and Lanny headed down the hill
in our truck to get our couch.
Paula bought one too
so Shelly brought her truck up
and they caravanned down to Big Lots...
I should have taken a photo of this gorgeous couch
BEFORE I covered it up, but I wasn't taking any chances.
Murphy, as a rescue from a hoarding situation,
thinks everything needs to be tinkled on...
I keep all the furniture covered
with washable waterproof covers...
little booger!!
We had Deli Turkey Sandwiches for lunch
and then Lanny and I had to try out the new couch...
COMFY!!!
And the recliner bottom is WIDE
so the dogs can share it
and I don't have to hang off the side!!!
For Supper I made Chili out of the left over Pinto Beans
and Baked some Potatoes
and made a Salad and Toasted Herb Bread...
YUM!!
Chores are done...
I am ready for Jammies
and lounging on my new couch
while we watch
Thor: Love and Thunder...
Goodnight Y'all...
God Bless
and
Sweet Dreams!
