Quiet Time...
"But to do good and to communicate forget not:
for with such sacrifices God is well pleased."
Hebrews 13:16 KJV
*****
Good Morning Thursday...
Waiting for me to get Dad situated...
Then it is time to relax
for an hour and a half of Quiet Time Bible Study.....
Maggie loves it...
Then to the Microgreens...
This tray gets another day of weights...
These get another day of Black Out...
Second Day Germination...
Out in the rain to the barnyard...
It was raining pretty hard...
Pups were NOT happy
because they were not allowed to go out with us this morning...
I didn't want a house full of wet dogs!!! :-)
Also, I didn't take my camera out...
it was raining pretty hard!
*****
Prepped some trays of diced tomatoes...
into the regular freezer for a day
and then tomorrow into the freeze dryer...
We got a great deal on these tomatoes at UGO!
They expire this month
so by freeze drying I can extend their lifetime!
The rain let up a bit and I took a few shots of my sweet girls...
see the duck in the back nest...
they just can't understand this is a GOAT HOUSE
and not part of their coop :-)
I made Lanny an Omelet Roll Up for breakfast
and he went back out to work...
then I made Dad some waffles...
Gave the bunnies some lettuce and carrots...
The goats love lettuce as well...
Nebula in a nest box...
sure hope she lays one...
this heat is really messing up their egg laying...
Willow...
I am down to one dozen chicken hens now
and the four duck hens are not laying much either...
Had a little more than 1/2 inch this morning...
For lunch I made open faced chili dogs
with the left overs from last night...
Then we rested for a little while...
Lanny is working on bleeding the fuel lines of air...
So I helped him...
Gave them some spaghetti noodles...
I have no idea what to call this...
I used the left overs from Paula's Kielbasa and Cabbage,
added some freeze dried stuff: diced tomatoes, bell peppers, mixed Italian veggies,
a jar of home canned ground beef, some noodles... whatever it is, we enjoyed it...
the Goats are in their house with plenty of hay,
the chickens are ready to go in at dusk to roost for the night
and the ducks, well, they just do whatever they want, all night long :-)
Ready for jammies and
the last Die Hard...
Goodnight Family and Friends...
God Bless
and
Sweet Dreams!
I am so glad that your eyes are better Debbie!!
God is good!
