Quiet Time...
"Now this I say, he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly,
and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.“
2 Corinthians 9:6 NASB1995
*****
Another cold one...
however, not quite as cold as yesterday
AND
I have water today!!!
Got the fire going!
Dad was up and I took care of his needs...
he has an infection in his eye that won't get better
because he won't leave it alone...
I threatened to duct tape it shut if he didn't keep his hands off :-)
Settled in for Bible Study Time...
Max is taking his turn on the warm hearth blanket...
Greens are growing well...
I may give the goats a tray of micro greens today...
Now it is Murphy's turn...
Out to the Barnyard...
Cold, but sunny!!!
The Chickens and Ducks are pretty content in the coop...
their door is always open so they can come and go as they please,
but I don't think they like the snow very much...
It is too cold to take my gloves off to get a picture...
I will rely on my Spy Cams for now :-)
Baby has discovered that it is pretty snug under the ledge...
Fiona is getting a little braver about the snow...
Made the Men an Omelet,
Sausage, Toast and Oranges...
Baby has a sore leg... she has done this for months...
I have checked it out, pressed, bent, trimmed her hoof...
I think she must have hurt it way back and may just have arthritis...
Baby must have told Fiona that I put birdseed out here yesterday...
they were looking for it on top of the box :-)
Look closely...
you will see Pepper laying an egg in the goat house...
she laid one yesterday...
I think she likes the solitude in here...
the Chicken Coop is very noisy...
turned out that both she and her sister Penelope laid eggs here...
my egg layers are getting back up to speed...
I got 4 eggs today...
I LOVE being able to see the critters from my kitchen window...
especially since I spend SO much time in here :-)
Look how sweet...
the Goats and Chickies are very comfortable together...
Max would love for Maggie to get off that blanket...
it is HIS turn in front of the fire!
I gave my Sparkly Crystals a couple days rest and feeding...
so today I started again...
Gave the girls a tray of Microgreens...
It is very good for them...
alive and green...
and they LOVE 'em!
Fiona is laying on the platform
chewing the cud...
We love to look at this fire!
AND, it warms this house SO nicely!!!
I made some Beef Patties and Gravy,
left over Veggie Rice and some Stir Fry Veggies
and Drop Biscuits...
YUM!!
Chores are done...
critters are happy...
Tonight we are going to watch
"Pelican Brief"...
Julia Roberts and Denzel...
good one!
Goodnight Family and Friends...
God Bless you ALL
and Sweet Dreams!!
