Thursday on Walden's Mountain... January 25

Quiet Time...

"Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

Philippians 4:6-7 KJV

Good Morning Thursday...

Well, Janie, looks like I did it again...

...you asked if I always get up at 3:33 and seems like I make it into the living room at nearly the same time each day... Unless one of the fur kids leave me an unexpected surprise between the bed and the wall clock... if you know what I mean :-)

I got the fire going and Murph was ready to enjoy it...
He didn't feel well this morning...
he had a sick belly and didn't eat his breakfast...
but he did eat his supper so he is OK now...

Time for our Bible Study and Pack Time...
Dad didn't get up until about 5:15,
so we were nearly at the ending point...

Max being his annoying self...
but his Daddy loves it!!

Into Black Out...
a day early but it is tall enough...

Yep, my morning sunflower picture
on iHeart Radio!!!

Out to the critters...
it is REALLY a heat wave today...
I didn't even put my coat on!

Lazy dogs...

Dad has been sleeping thru normal breakfast time
(after he eats his first breakfast)
and often lunch as well...
I made Lanny and I an Egg Sandwich for breakfast
and it was late enough, we didn't eat lunch...

but when Dad woke up
I made him half a Ham Sandwich and Chips...

Then Lanny headed down the hill to make a dump run
and meet up with my new friend Karen...
she has a Goat Farm and fresh Goat Milk!!!
Since my girls are not in milk just yet I will buy it from her...

Dad had a visit from the Hospice Nurse today
and also the Hospice Shower Nurse...
it was great because we missed all last week because of the snow!!

*****

For Supper I made Pot Roast...
with Taters, Carrots and Onions...
Lanny's special request :-)

Also made some Drop Biscuits...
with sliced Onions of course :-)
... had some left over Spinach
and added some Sweet Corn...

Robbie joined us...
Always a treat for Momma...

Snow is gone
but now it is pouring the rain...
Oh well...

Chores are done,
Critters are ready for bed
and so am I!!

I think we are watching
"Star Man" tonight...
sweet!!!

Goodnight Family and Friends!

God Bless

and

Sweet Dreams!

“Lay all upsets at God’s feet, and let Him soothe your troubled mind.
This very night discover the memory of God
glows brightly within you.
Sweet dreams of awakening.”
