Monday on Walden's Mountain... April 22

Quiet Time...

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Philippians 4:6-7

Working on this doily lat night

while we watched Hobbit...

"Unexpected Journey"...

*****
Good Monday Morning...

Bible Study Time...
Pack Time...
Pup Time...

And Max Time with Daddy...
he kept reaching up with his paw
to touch Lanny's face...
so sweet...

Day two germination...

No sunflowers this morning...
every now and then they throw me a curve...
still a pretty picture to start off with...

Lanny at his art station...
yes, his breakfast is an art form!

Heading out to the Barnyard...
it is downright COLD this morning...

She is waiting not so patiently!

She knows there are rats under the dust bath...
every morning she sniffs around the holes...

... she was SO insistent
that Lanny lifted up the corner
and the rat ran out!!!

We didn't get a video but I wish we had!
She chased the rat, shook him and threw him around
and quickly dispatched him!!!

Dead as a door knob :-)
took her about 30 seconds!
We know her Momma was Doxie,
but her Dad must have been a hunter!!!

Sparkly Day...

Paula and I went down the hill early today...
she had to drop her Yorkie off for a cut and bath
and then we went to CoOp...

Picked up some stuff...

They had LOTS of plants
but we were strong...
we headed for the Food City...

We bought groceries and since Cody was still not ready
we stopped at the Wendy's for the $5 Biggie Bag...
I checked on my pups and they were all waiting at the office door...
When we got home there were packages sitting in the bay doorway
so they were watching the UPS guy :-)

Lanny and I took a little snooze
and then he went out in the tractor
and I did a quick egg check...

Just saw a pop up on my calendar that tomorrow
is the one year anniversary of bringing our Kids home...
...we brought home three but our little Willie died...
our two Ladies are doing great tho, and we just adore them!!!

Maggie is enjoying the sunshine...

It is a bit warmer so I gave the fish a few pellets...
it isn't good to feed them when it is too cold...

Mini Knockout is opening up!!!

I may have already shown you,
but these are some of the doilies
I have made while watching our movies...

Left over Spaghetti
for supper tonight!!

We will put the goats up,
pick up the pup landmines,
get our Jammies on
and watch the next
Hobbit...
"Desolation of Smaug"...

James had a check up today and
has gained one pound...
they are SO happy...
he has been consistently losing
so even one pound on the plus side
is GREAT!!!
Continue to pray for him
and for Paula
as she heals from her treatments...

Goodnight Family and Friends!
God Bless
and
Sweet Dreams!
